Ming Tien Food Court (Closed)

说马来西亚是美食天堂真的没错啊，这个小小的地方就云集了各州美食呢！先说果汁，这么大一杯，都够2个人喝了！再来就是角落的鱼滑米粉，完全不输参观呢！吃了也不会口渴，虽然味道非常浓郁，是味精比较少的意思吗？鱼滑数量刚好，分量刚好，一碗下去也饱了。汤有些许黄酒的味道，吃了人热热的，冷冷的天来一碗还真的暖身！

How to refresh yourself on a blazing hot day? I would strongly recommend Ming Tien's fruit juice! Obviously it taste good when almost every table here orders it. I practically have my dinner here at least once or twice a week. Working nights there aren't many variety or options out there but at Ming Tien at least am able to change around what I eat. They are open from 7am to 4am if I am not mistaken. Cleanliness is just so so like all massive food courts. Service is hit and miss. The homemade fish ball is not that bad. The vermicelli is quite soft and the bean sprout is cooked properly. There is just not enough vermicelli for my stomach. The portion is not that big for a hungry person like me so I think it is okay. Fish-balls are okay and not too chewy but I wouldn't consider it to be very tasty. 在 Ming Tien Food Court 有档鱼滑粉，味道蛮不错。今天我点了單是干撈河粉然后叫了一碗自制鱼滑丸。河粉细滑有口感，黑酱油撈的很香，干中帯点湿润，不会太咸味道刚刚好。而鱼滑丸新鲜有弹性。虽然价钱贵了点，可是物有所値。

The fish bowl noodles comes in a plastic bowl and I don’t quite like this. It doesn’t look appetizing enough. The vermicelli is hard and the fish is cooked fried until it was too hard for me. I find the fish overcooked, not fresh and there is a strong fishy smell. The milk is not fresh and it may because they kept it overnight inside the fridge or it is some instant milk. The soup was also salty. For the price of RM7, I would expect something better. Overall, this is a miss for me.

It may be just a simple looking dim sum stall, but they have the works here! Everything a full-fledged dim sum shop has, they have. My standard choice is dim sum king, which is basically a souped-up version of the regular siew mai.It's juicy, big, with big chunk of fresh-enough shrimp.

This is one of the hawker stalls attract my interest in Ming Tien Food Court. They are selling China version like Ramen , Dumpling Soup , Fried Dumpling( 锅贴）and 刀削面。For a bowl of Ramen Soup you can have 4 pieces of pork ribs, dumpling ( 水饺）for 3 , some veggies. But of course you can order the dried Ramen besides soup base . I personally more to the Ramen Soup mainly because the soup was a clear soup which using lots of pork bone boiled over many hours , it so tasty but not the salty type .It jus

Stir-fried ginger fish with rice bought from Ming Tien food court is one of my favoured. Fish came in large portion and the fish meat was indeed very fresh and sweet. The fish had no mud taste and had stir-fried with spring onions, alot of ginger, oyster sauce/ mushroom sauce and garlic. Fish meats were succulent and tender. No fish bones were found as they used sliced fish meat to prepare this dish. Best to eat with rice.

Today we have our dinner in Ming Tien Food Court situated in Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya. There are a lot of hawker stall selling different kind of local food. Many nice food here, eg. Yesterday, Me and my friends went to Ming Tien food court for dinner. When we reached there, really really a lot of people. Hard to find seats. While Ming Tien is officially open throughout the day, the best time to go is when most of the stalls are open for dinner, from 6.00pm to 12.00am. With a welcoming ambiance and warm lighting, this is a great place to dine and have a social gathering without having to splurge. It’s also an ideal place for tourists to sample various local favourite.

Claypot Wild Boar Curry. It is very difficult to find wild boar curry here and so happened that Ming Tien offers it. We ordered the wild boar curry and it came in a hot claypot. The wild boar taste is strong so it has to be masked with thick flavour like curry. The curry was slightly diluted and slightly spicy. The wild boar meat was not too soft nor too hard. The potato was soft.

Apple Juice. After the badminton session at night, the gang decided to go to Ming Tien to have late dinner. Once we were seated down, we have to wave for the ever-busy staff to take order for our drink. I ordered the big size apple juice as I were feeling very thirsty after the badminton. It came with half filled of ice and the others apple juice. It does have apple taste but diluted with water.

Asam laksa has a unique taste that is sure to be a new experience. Asam Laksa is spicy, flowery, minty, sweet, sour, fishy noodle soup that has no comparison.Smooth round rice noodles immersed in a broth of a seemingly chaotic mix of spices and flavors, thickened with mackerel fish and sour tamarind peel, and topped with heaps of fresh vegetables and herbs for added texture and color.

NICE curry if you are a curry lover!I am quite impressed with their curry because I do not expect such standard of quality came from a stall in food court. Firstly, it came with a rather not impressive sizzling pot with a plate of rice, until I take my first sip on the curry, it was beyond food court level. The curry was so thick and smelled nice. Pork meats were found in quite a lot of portion and it was cooked with potatoes.
