I'm a big fan of noodles, be it the wanton noodles, mee goreng, Cantonese fried, yee mee or even instant noodles. I can eat them any time of the day. Fish noodles is also my favourite. The soup at Goon Wah is very tasty, creamy with hint of the chinese wine. They are served with generous amount of spring onion and tomatoes too that made the soup even more tastier. Noodles are also loaded lots of fish meat which was pre fried before cook in the soup. Besides that, they allowed topping up

This tasty fried chicken is coated with savoury sticky brown sauce. I believe the chicken wings are fried to perfection & mixed with this sweet sauce. Toasted sesame seeds are sprinkled as toppings to bring out the extra flavour. Though served on it's own, I would prefer to savour this delightful dish with some white rice. I think the price is kind of steep as it costs RM 3.50 for a pair of wings. Good when served with these toasted sesame seeds. Our order of 4 pairs of wings costs us RM 14.0

This delightful and attractive looking Mouse Noodles is served piping hot in a clay pot. Actually, the pot is not made of clay but, made of cast iron! The noodles are topped with fried and dried shrimps with a generous serving of minced pork to go with it. This hearty meal only cost RM 9! Basically, you would be the "chef" now as you have to mix it yourself. Apparently, the patrons at the restaurant don't mind mixing it as many like to "cook" their food in front of their eyes! Had a very full dinner at Goon Wah Restaurant with family. Here is famous with their XO鱼头米 and swiss wing.After trying these 2 dishes i have to give a big thumb up to them as it's very delicious. Not to forget other dishes also taste good.The 鱼头米 very fresh and don't hve any sea water smell o the fish. And the swiss wing is sweet and tender and finer licking good.

I'm not a big fan of chicken wings especially those which are sweet and had those sesame on top. It was not my favourite but this was surprisingly good. It was cooked to perfection and the taste was not too sweet. It was mild and the meat was still juicy. I still scrape some of the sesame away because i didn't like the sesame. The serving size was decent and good as snacks!

This was also served in a claypot and I like how milky the broth for this fish head noodle is. The serving size is enough to feed at least 3 person. The fried fish in this is also crispy and they do not stinge on the amount of fish. I find that the spring onion really brought out the taste of the broth.The noodles was really good because the broth was filled with flavor.

The claypot loh shi fun is the best in this area! They usually serve it without mixing the sauces and minced pork which could be seen on the top of the claypot. The way to eat this right is to mix all the ingredients the moment it is served on the table. I love how flavorful this dish is. The taste is authentic and trust me, I am not a fan of lou shi fun but I absolutely love this. The minced pork served in this is in such a huge amount that it is almost in every bite.

我一向都爱吃芋头扣肉，因为每次吃都很有家的味道，所以如果餐馆有得点的话我大多都会点的，就像今天的，而且芋头扣肉也很送饭，我们也有点馒头来沾那扣肉的汁吃，很香的，吃了让人很满足。

Very good chilli sauce...goes well with everything.... Mum always have more than 1 plate of those chilli sauce.......Swiss ChickenThe wings are coated and marinated in a thick sweet sauce & sesame seeds were sprinkled on the surface of the chicken.......Extremely good and addictive... I had 3 out of the six pieces of wings......A must order........I can finish the whole plate by myself........yummy yummy............

It is always a pleasure to dine at Goon Wah. For this round, we ordered the stir fried kailan shoots ("kai lan miu") and Kau Yoke with yam. Kai lan miu (i think its RM 8) The kailan dish was simple and delicious with oyster sauce taste and fried shallots. Kou Yoke (oink oink with yam slices) Kau Yoke (piggy + yam) comes with 5 mantou to eat with. This dish is a bit of a let down as the yam were not really fresh and the gravy has too strong "min si" sauce taste. For those who are watching out on

I was introduced to Goon Wah Restaurant by my aunt. I went there last Thursday with my mum and aunt. This place is famous for their claypot XO Fish Head Noodles which is a must order for Fish Head Noodles lover. However, remember to come early because it's usually crowded during lunch time.
