I just got back from japan and since then i was busy most of the time because of my new interest which is hiking. Well you need to balance off your hobby for loving food hunting with something that can burn the fat off hihi. So last time i went to pepper lunch. I have never tried this restaurant before but it does look interesting as there were a lot of people. The menu caught my attention whereby they have all in 1 shop. They have peper rice for salmon ( japanese style) , steak (western style)

I ordered my favourite beef steak with egg and rice. The rice is served separately, as the hot plate is not able to hold it as it was pretty full. I had a whole piece of juicy patty, together with an egg, corn kernels, lots of beansprouts and some overcooked long beans. In ordered to ensure my patty is not overcooked, I added in some karakuchi, or garlic soy sauce, and put it on top of the beansprouts. Priced at RM13.80, it was well worth the amount paid.

Wifey and I were rushing on Sunday night to go to One Utama to buy some essentials. After doing the necessary shopping, we decided to go to Pepper Lunch in Food Republic to have some supper. Good thing that they were still serving even though it was already 930pm. Wifey ordered the beef pepper rice, and added an egg. 这个Chicken with rice set给的是白鸡，白鸡吃起来比起烧鸡来的有点香滑可口。而味道方面算是中规中矩普普通通，个人还算可以接受的到。而这个的酱汁做的算是不错，吃起来就更加的入味。

喜欢吃牛肉的我就点了这个beef pepper rice。牛肉吃起来就不会太硬而且口感不错。黑椒汁方面就有点比较普通，整体来说算是不错除了那普通的黑椒汁之外，这个有配上饭所以不会吃不饱。

这个beef pepper rice味道也不错，主要就是牛肉够鲜嫩新鲜，还有牛肉独有的味道导致全部食材搅拌了过后，米饭变得香味四溢。淋上了我喜欢的黑椒汁，整个又是另一种不同的感觉，增加了湿润的口感。

叫了这个Chicken with rice set还真的有一点后悔。因为都是白白的鸡肉我的食欲也减了一点了。味道果然是普普通通，也没有很嫩滑。幸好上面的玉米粒很鲜甜多汁，总算抚慰到我受伤的心灵。

这个在Pepper Lunch Express里的Pepper Lunch Express是我每一次来到几乎都会光顾的摊位。不过由于太多人了，每次都要等一阵子才能吃到。这个Salmon Pepper Rice with Cheese饭的周围围满了三文鱼片，上面也有大量的芝士。味道混合起来有三文鱼的油脂鲜味，更有芝士的香味。

尝试了这里的salmon pepper lunch with cheese。每次来到都有很多人在排队。酱汁都是随着自己喜好而定。我选了黑胡椒酱。新鲜还没被煮熟的三文鱼片乖乖地铺在香喷喷地米饭上，还有我喜欢的玉米。我很犹豫到底要不要把三文鱼和米饭拌在一起，毕竟我不是很喜欢吃到太熟的三文鱼。在别无选择的情况下，我还是把他们拌在一起吧。味道很不浓烈，淡淡的胡椒味，三文鱼的鲜，玉米的甜，米饭的香,芝士的咸，如果要我形容呢，它是一道很温柔的午餐吧。
