Went to watch movie and I decided to take away Gong Cha so that I can sneak my drinks into the cinema. I ordered their green tea milk tea in large. And it was RM7.50. I personally think the drink was just okay, the green tea flavour wasn’t popping and it was quite bland. Initially we wanted our sugar level to be normal but the staff told us that our drink would be too sweet, so we went with 50% sugar level. While their teas are excellent, their coffee is less so, as obviously they can't pull a good cup of coffee on the spot. This is all pre-brewed used less expensive coffee beans (powder?). Without sugar the taste is bitter and flat. Good thing the signature foam helped to sweeten it and make it creamy!

they have another outlet in subang and i like this Milk tea price at (RM 4.90) added with white pearl additional adding cost of the ( RM 1.50), similar to other Taiwanese milk teas franchise like those chatime and orchado, they all don't have a strong tea after-taste but more into the creamy and smooth milky taste. White pearl, one of Gong Cha's specialty made from seaweed extract .

Japanese matcha (green tea) is one of my all-time favourite ingredient, be it in drinks or cakes, it never fail to satisfy me. I decided to order this version from Gong Cha, considering switching from the usual orders.The matcha taste was not appealing here to be as rich as I like it, I do think this is just a matter of preference. The texture of drink is little thick and creamy, with the addition of sweet azuki (red beans) gives extra texture and natural sweetness.

Signature drinks remain the best choice in Gong Cha, one of them is the milk foam paired with green tea. The milk foam layer gives you a creamy with salty taste, weird at first but tastebuds will adapt well and naturally. I love the aroma from the green tea- fresh and rich, indicating it is well brewed. Mix the whole drink together and you get a nice milk tea. Light, creamy and refreshing- best drink after meals as well.

Initially I wanted to fix my cravings for the signature winter melon tea with milk foam, but my itchy eyes decided to look for another new drink to try I always love anything with taro (yam), so I decided to go for Taro Milk Tea. I requested for less ice and 50% sugar as suggested by the cashier.I have shaken my drink, looking at the thick consistency and nice purple colour, I know it is going to be good.
