Wrapped around the corner of Air Itam market, with a few tables clinging to the walls, a drinks stall and the laksa stall out in the open with the penetrating sun blinded by a few hanging plastic tarps. Ayer Itam is a pasar that sells a variety of local penang food.Penang Asam LaksaThis dish is penang asam laksa. The asam laksa is too spicy for me. You can see the amount of "Chilli padi" they sprinkled on the top. Those chillies cannot be looked down seriously. Once you mix the whole dish together, you can taste the hotness of this asam laksa.

每次来到都是门庭若市的laksa想必味道可以说是非常好了。这是我吃过最有味道的laksa了。laksa的汤头很浓郁，里面还有很多鱼肉碎片。用料很大方，每一口都是满满的鱼肉碎，没有腥味。很满足。

Asam Laksa at its best. If you are on the way to Kek Lok SI, you may want to do a stopover for this mouth watering asam laksa for sure. With thick rice noodle and its hot piping laksa condiments, its not too spicy and well served with lots of prawn paste. The creamy prawn paste is what tickles my tastebud, as I always wanted it more. Great serving, with only RM4 per bowl, Fish meat is well blended and lovely! Taste great.

来到这里的顾客就知道一定是吃这里驰名的laksa。这里的laksa汤头很浓郁，而且喝起来都非常顺口，一点都不呛喉咙。里面的汤头质感不算很清撤。里面还有很多的鱼肉碎，一碗吃起来很满足

大家都说槟城的Penang Laksa很好吃,但是吃了几家之后,还是觉得只有Pasar Air Itam的最好吃!这里的泊车位很难找,但是那天很幸运的,我们就停在档口前面! （有Rapid Penang在这里出入,不熟悉驾驶的朋友不建议驾车来）虽然是在Pasar前面,但是没有让人不舒服的臭味,但是座位也挺难找的,毕竟这里真的太出名太多人来光顾了.一碗Laksa的价钱是RM4,可以自己去跟老板点,尽量自己点自己的,不然老板搞错了就麻烦了.着小小碗的Laksa汤非常的浓郁,所以都是深深的褐色的,但是喝起来算是比较重口味的,但是不呛喉咙.老板下料真的很舍得,每一口都能够吃到很多的青瓜丝还有薄荷,很重的薄荷味.(我朋友甚至叫了第二碗Kosong的,然后把之前那碗吃剩的才倒进Kosong的碗里面)它的laksa面很Q弹,搭配汤吃就真的很入味.虽然是老招牌了但是老板还是和蔼可亲不会吊高来卖,态度很OK.基本上是满分的Laksa!没什么好嫌的!(对我来说)

ASAM LAKSA IS AWESOME! All I can say is that you will regret if you don't have a taste of it!It consists of thick rice noodles covered with a fish-based soup. And you can pour some prawn paste too. The soup was cooked to perfection (texture and taste). Heavy smell of fish!Parking is a problem every public holiday season. Meal came out very quickly and was a very generous serve.

This laksa stall is located at the busiest road on the way to Kek Lok Si temple. Is quite hard to find a car park space here unless you park further up and walk over. The laksa stall is always crowded and packed. However is really worth to wait for it. Heard about this famous penang laksa long time ago from my friends. At last, i have the chance to try it This famous penang laksa is located at jalan pasar air itam, near with the kek lok si temple. The location of the laksa is quite obvious as it is located at the side of the road.There's a long queue when we reach there. Being told by the local this stall have always been crowded with locals and tourists everyday especially weekend and holidays. And im quite shock to know that the laksa is on

Be careful when you come to Penang and see the word laksa. If you are not a fans of asam laksa, the laksa here actually refers to that. The asam laksa here is one of the most famous food in penang. When you ask people where to find nice asam laksa, most of them will tell you go to kek lok si temple there. The soup here is thick and very tasteful. The fish that they give is quite generous too. There are two big pieces in my bowl. Then the noodle is very smooth to eat.

You cannot deny that laksa is one of the famous delicacies in Penang. On my way to Kek Lok Si, we spotted a huge crowd around this stall (indicator that you should try it).
