super tanker has two branches, the other is at one clubpeople claim that the one club restaurant has better foodi tried the steamed fish at super tanker and the fish was very fresh that the chef did not need to steam the fish with any ginger to get rid of the fishy smellthe fish is placed on a stand with small candles at the bottom to keep the fish warmthe fish is garnished with coriander and parsley to make it look more appetizing

this is a plain roast chicken dishit is a whole chicken where the head is also platedthe roast chicken is marinated very well and although there was no gravy, the chicken meat still tasted moist and tenderthe restaurant did give a thick transparent sweet dipping sauce but i thought it would have come with the salt and pepper dip as well

tiger prawns are huge and freshthey are not peeled when cooked so if you are the type that is likes a clean prawn i.e. now black spine, then this dish may be annoying to yousadly the taste of the prawn only coats the shellinside the sweet sauce does not get into the prawn flesh

Spinach in superior soup. I wanted to have some soup that night, so I ordered the spinach in superior soup. In came in a flat plate. The spinach was also cooked with century eggs and some anchovies. The soup was not too sweet with some saltiness from the anchovies. It was quite delicious to drink. The spinach was soft. Overall, it was not a bad dish but nothing so special about it either.

Claypot Cordyceps Yu Piu Chicken. Kampung chicken was used for this dish, thus the tough meat texture and it does not have a lot of meaty parts. There were strands of cordyceps being used in this cooking together with yu piu. The yu pie was soft and absorbed the sauce nicely. I like the cordyceps strands too. The gravy has the right saltiness but I just do not like the taste.

Fragrant Garlic Steamed Fish Balls. This dish was specially ordered by another customer and the restaurant made more, so we ordered it too. The presentation was good and grouper fish was used. The vegetables were arranged nicely surrounding the fish. The fish balls were topped with some mashed garlic. The fish balls were fresh and succulent together with the aroma of the garlic.

Pumpkin Pork Ribs. This is a specialty dish from this Extra Super Tanker. The pork ribs were being filled inside a pumpkin. At first, we scoop the pork ribs and ate it, it was sweet actually due to the pumpkin. The pork ribs were not too tender. The taste was fine. After finishing the pork ribs, the Captain came and cut opened the pumpkin for us. The pumpkin was extremely sweet with the taste of gravy from the pork ribs.

Thousand layer beancurd. The beancurd was quite big and tall. When we split it opened, it showed two layer of fish paste in between the beancurd, thus the name of “thousand layer”. The beancurd was topped with deep fried onions and spring onions that were very aromatic. The beancurd was soft and smooth. I like the the texture of the fish paste eaten together with the salty sauce and bland beancurd.

Claypot Pork ribs with brinjals. It seems that claypot is a famous dish in this restaurant as most of the tables had one claypot. We ordered the claypot pork ribs with brinjals and the gravy came bubbling hot. The pork ribs were cut into smaller pieces and the meat was tender. I did not face any problem separating the meat from the bone. The gravy was slightly salty and thick. The brinjals were soft.

Stirred fried “Qing Long” vegetables. We ordered the spinach in superior soup but they ran out of spinach that night. When we were struggling on what vegetables to order, the captain suggested “Qing Long” vegetables that we agreed immediately as not many restaurants offers this vege. The vege was fresh and soft. They could tone down the saltiness as it was a salty that spoilt the freshness of the vege.

Boston Lobster. We ordered half a lobster and it came with some gravy. The lobster meat was very springy. The egg batter was quite qing, it was not too diluted. It was slightly sticky and not too salty. The lobster was quite meaty too. However, we noticed that the meat in the legs of the lobster was missing, we wondered why. Overall, my whole family enjoyed this Boston lobster as compared to the soft Boston Lobster served in Ah Yat Abalone.

通常我吃到的龙趸都是拿来清蒸的，但是这里却以瓦煲来料理的却令我大开眼界，煲盖打开后香味变散发出来，我尝了尝鱼肉，龙趸的肉质是偏结实的每一口吃下去都是‘dam dam’肉，而且很鲜甜弹牙让人很有满足感过足口瘾，但是价钱也不是开玩笑的，幸好今天是老板请客不然平时的我一定不舍得吃

文华轩大饭店的这款佛跳墙虽然是迷你版的但是麻雀虽小但五脏齐全，佛跳墙里面塞了满满的料，有干杯，海参，鸡肉和一些药材等，佛跳墙里的汤汁更是精华所在，汤汁吸收的所有药材的精华，散发出浓浓的香味，喝起来更是没得顶

这款豆腐对我来说蛮特别的除了特别外，还吃得厨师的功夫和心思，炸的金黄的外皮看下去虽然感觉普通但是里层却是一层豆腐一层鱼肉，柔软的豆腐配上鱼肉后变得很有层次感，而且鱼肉的鲜甜配上豆腐的香真的很好吃。

A terrific place to savour scrumptious Chinese cuisine with innovative twists. The star dish is the roasted duck "Chinese sandwich-style." Bored of Peking Duck? This is a tasty alternative, with crisp duck skin and fried pancake tucked inside soft layers of bread. The rest of the roast duck is excellent even on its own. One of the best in town.
