Nasi Lemak Ayam Rm 9.50. I not sure if this is the signature dish of the restaurant, cause it is the most ordered one. Haven try it, because I don't want to eat Nasi Lemak for lunch, which later cause me sleepy more.

Nasi Goreng Cina Rm 8. Just an ordinary Fried Rice with fried egg. Nasi Goreng Kampung Rm 8

I like this one more than Nasi GOreng CIna, it is mid spicy.

Nyonya Laksa RM 8
the layer of oil on top is a bit thick, the added of "lemak' inside enhance the laksa! yummy. best eat when hot. SO far I like Nyonya Laksa more than the 3 dishes above.

ALso, I like that they provide re-useable plastic tupperware, when I need to take-away, without extra charge. So environment friendly. This is one of the reason I like them. In case if all the food above, dont serve you right, here is the menu, you will found some Malaysian traditionsal dishes that you like! eventually!

Came over to this restaurant instead of village Park to get better service. Quite disappointed since the service I got is not what I should get given the nasi lemak ayam is priced at RM 9.50 (held up my hand for at least 2 minutes to ask for menu but unnoticed albeit the amount of staffs they have and a very small crowd of customers) but the service is slightly better than village Park. Sambal is sweet not spicy. Chicken is crispy but not crunchy-crispy, which I believe village Park is better.

Don't think I will come back anyway.

But is it any good?

To me, if any single criterion defines a good nasi lemak, I would have to say it's the sambal. While potently flavourful (without being particularly spicy) and thick with anchovies, the sambal is a lot saltier than I would like it... yet, somehow does not spoil the experience and enjoyment of the dish at all.

The chicken is crispy, warm, and super fragrant with turmeric - the epitome of a perfect ayam goreng berempah - that would put most nasi lemak places to shame. Despite my almost-completely strict preference for breast meat, I find myself enjoying the thigh meat more than I would expect.

Salty sambal and the non-serving of breast meat, yet I rate this nasi lemak so highly? I am a generous God.

Perhaps, my biggest gripe would lie in the fact that it is served with half a half-boiled egg (no, that doesn't constitute a quarter-boiled egg), and the price tag that borders upon a tenner... and perhaps the unattentive service.

We ordered the yam cake as an extra dish to try it out. For RM3, it's quite a big serving and very compacted. It has quite a bit of condiments on top and the chilli were chopped in big pieces so its quite crunchy. The cake itself is a bit hard for my liking but taste wise, its not bad. However, I DO NOT like the sauce that came with it. The sweet sauce and chilli sauce taste too artificial, yucks! Just try the yam cake, it's enough for a tea treat

The cantonese fried yee mee is one of the few chinese hawker dishes from the menu. It took quite some time to serve. The initial impression was, how come the noodles look so thick?! But it was ok. The gravy was a bit too diluted for my liking. There's quite abundance of vege and meat. It's also not very salty, just nice. In the end, I couldn't finish it because the portion was too big.

One of the most popular dish in the menu is the nasi lemak ayam. Serving time is less than 5 minutes too. Everything were pre-prepared but did not feels cold. The sambal is not spicy but still tasty. The hero of the dish is the chicken. It's HUGE. They serve the whole leg including thigh and it was meaty. The chicken was fried with some gingery flour mix to bring out the nice aroma. It's a very nice dish and will definitely come back to try again!

Hainanese chicken chop (RM14.00) which took 1/2hr to cook

We went to this place which was recommended by my colleague for department lunch. The place has a very homey kampung feel inside. She recommended the nasi lemak ayam and I almost ordered it until I saw the Hainanese chicken chop in the list. It was something 'rare' which I would like to try. So I ordered and waited, and waited and waited. It really took them long to prepare it, almost for 1/2 hr! My that time, my team was almost finishing their dishes already. When served, it was too hot and I scalded my gums T_T Anyway, the taste was quite nice, I like the flour that it's fried with, fragrant and gives a bright red color. And even the bones were fried to crisp. There were enough meat, it looks quite big. The sauce is a bit too sweet for my liking. If its a bit more savoury, it'll be perfect. The fries were SLIGHTLY undercooked but still ok la.

If you have been to Tom, Dick and Harry's Pub in Scott's Gardon or Taman Tun Dr Ismail, you'll be delighted to hear that they have recently added yet another outlet under their name. So one sunny afternoon, few days after they opened their doors for business, we've decided to pay a visit. After scanning through the simple menu (where everything is around 8 ringgit) we knew what we wanted: Nasi Lemak of course!

This was a huge serving. The rice was extremely fragrant with the coconut milk. The sambal has a good kick and flavours were good, just a tad too oily though. And the chicken? Wow! Crispy and bursting with flavours. Very satisfying plate of deluxe nasi lemak!

We've also ordered a mee rebus. The presentation is excellent. Unfortunately the gravy was not as tasty as I had hoped, perhaps just a little more salt would be sufficient to improve this. But I enjoyed the various toppings.

Of course, I ordered the Teh Tarik to complete the experience. It was frothy like how it should be, and creamy, just how I like it. They did forget the order initially but that's understandable since it is a new outlet and they were absolutely full that afternoon. They were quick to deliver the nasi lemak though.
