Tsubohachi grand launch on 24 July 2015 , Diners will also get to experience the “Izakaya culture” by enjoying the drinks that are available in the restaurant . the franchise started in Japan (Hokkaido being it’s namesake and start) and now has outlets in Singapore and Thailand. The Publika shop is the first in Malaysia .The menu has yakitori (grilled meat skewers), sushi, sashimi, rice dishes, grilled dishes, appetisers, noodles and dessert. Apart from tea, there are a variety of Japanese spirits available as well as mocktails . There are semi-private rooms with the traditional tatami look at the sides and the back .
