Used to love clear tom yam or some may call it white tom yam. Due to the waiter high recommendation of their creamy red tom yam, we gave it a try with mixed seafood. It was really inviting with the aroma of the red tom yam once it served to us on the table. We helped ourselves one bowl each and no doubt the red tom yam was creamy and very flavourful. The only downside is, the soup became overly creamy and thick while it was still boiling or heating in the big bowl to the extent it turned to curry gravy texture and taste. Disappointment towards the end as I could not consume my tom yam soup just on it owns due to this reason. Seriously you may not want to have your third bowl as is no longer soup but more towards curry or dry tom yam perhaps ?
