I have only tried ravioli just one time in one of my favourite Mediterranean restaurant; Porta Romano. The one I had from Porta Romano was a salmon one and it was just rich, creamy and heavenly. In contrast, the one served from Bavarian Bierhaus is a vegetarian version where ravioli is filled with spinach and ricotta cheese. I had a chance to speak with the chef and I was told that these ravioli pockets are made in house, handmade in other words. But in all honesty, I didn't like it that much. T

In contrast, the one served from Bavarian Bierhaus is a vegetarian version where ravioli is filled with spinach and ricotta cheese. I had a chance to speak with the chef and I was told that these ravioli pockets are made in house, handmade in other words. But in all honesty, I didn't like it that much. The pasta was too tough, and it felt like they were defrosted, not made fresh. As for the filling, the cheese made it too powdery.
