As you can probably tell if you read chinese, the peppery pig stomach soup is their signature dish (in fact you will see a big 'urn' out the shopfront that has the soup simmering away). So of course we ordered this, along with a few other interesting dishes.

First to arrive was a dish with some thai influence, pickled chicken feet (literally translated to Glass chicken feet). This was really tasty. With strong vinegary hint and potent chili, with enough sweetness to balance the dish. Very appetising.

I believe Pork Trotter cooked in Vinegar is a Hakka dish. Here they didn't quite get the taste right, with just a bit too much sweetness and the vinegar wasn't punching through. The pork trotter also wasn't tender enough.

The highlight of the night arrived and that was one piping bowl of soup. It was peppery alright, very satisfying with good depth of flavours.

We also ordered this Pork curry. It looked really greasy so we had to carefully avoiding scooping out the oily bits. But the curry was tasty with robust flavours. I like how the potato soaked up the delicious curry gravy too.

To fulfill our vegetable quota, we ordered some stir fried lettuce and it was cooked well, with enough crunchiness still intact.

The service was polite and efficient and the dishes arrived very quickly. I saw many customers ordering the steamed chicken, I must try that again.
