Having too many chocolate cake recently, I planned to make a change by looking for cakes which are more healthy and less heavy. The fruit cake was layered with vanilla sponge cake and fresh cream, then topped with kiwi, grapes, peach and nuts. It had a very soft and airy texture, and the cream wasn't cloying until the last mouthful. Just nice as I like.
