The raw peeled onion was served with soy sauce (ganjang). And I was quickly reminded of those that you put inside your claypot chicken rice. Pretty much the same taste. It actually adds more flavor into your other dishes if you eat it along. Just bear in mind though, it was more of pickled onion compared to super raw onion. The pungent smell was even gone because of the soy sauce probably.
