This is perhaps one of the better beef burgers I've ever had (dubbed "Redz Heat"), if not the best. Though chef Riz Redz (son of Chef Wan) had his unglamorous moments in the news some time ago, that makes him no less a good chef in the kitchen.

Thick, juicy beef patty, as with any worthy beef burger, topped with melted cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, beef bacon, and - most importantly - blue cheese.

The sharp, stinky blue cheese gives a lot of character to this otherwise safe burger, though some might not agree with the intense smell of blue cheese.

The caramelized onions is essential in the balance of sweetness of the burger which would otherwise be too strongly flavoured with all that cheese and all that beef.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of beef bacon - but it's there and it doesn't ruin anything, so I just pretend it's not there. I mean it's dry and coarse and tastes nothing like real beef or real bacon; so what's the point, really?

Oh, the wedges are really good too. Thick, fluffy, smooth. Goes well with mustard.
