KOI is my visit during my trip back to Penang. The restaurant is indeed stylish and serving an authentic Japanese cuisine. It is located at the New Wing of Gurney Plaza.  We ordered "KOI" Sashimi platter where it comes with 5 selection of sashimi. The 15 pieces of sashimi are the assortment of 3 pieces each of salmon, red tuna, white tuna, mackerel as well as octopus. The sashimi is fresh as well as the texture is nice. The only thing is the soy sauce to be have it together is slightly salty.
