This was my very first experience with The Manhattan Fish Market at Sunway Pyramid together with Don, and we have only been to this particular outlet in my entire life, for twice.The soup of the day was Mushroom Soup. It tasted like an Instant Mushroom Soup and so, there's nothing much to describe about it.I couldn't quite remember its name, unfortunately. It was a mixture of Sprite, lime and peppermint. We ordered Grilled Gala Platter that was meant for two at RM46.90. The plate was filled with plenty of seafood, including fried fish, fried oyster, fried calamari, thick-cut fries, and fried prawns on a bed of garlic rice. This was so popular that I could literally spot everyone ordering the same thing. However, I thought it was extremely filling even though it was indeed meant for two.
The waiter was demonstrating on how he "cooked" the prawns instantly, but they tasted like overcooked prawns instead, to be honest. :S The overall dish was still great though.It may not be a place where I would visit often, yet it would be a great backup if I couldn't decide on a place for a proper meal.
