This Mamak store, is one place where we can have a good view of Malaysian local scenery. People are seated down here in the open air to watch TV particularly football match. We get to see the local people seated down together as one big family, dining together. This type of scenery we won't get to see in restaurant other than Mamak, where people really hang out together and have fun be it dine or for a few sip of the Teh Tarik. This Mamak store, is one place where we can have a good view of Malaysian local scenery. People are seated down here in the open air to watch TV particularly football match. We get to see the local people seated down together as one big family, dining together. This type of scenery we won't get to see in restaurant other than Mamak, where people really hang out together and have fun be it dine or for a few sip of the Teh Tarik. This restaurant is located near to the NRD in Sri Rampai, most local folks won't miss it. For others, if you don't know the way here just ask around for the NRD in Sri Rampai and you will see this restaurant sitting next to it. Over here, there are some outdoor seating available as well as in door, the lighting in the restaurant seem dull to be seated inside and to be honest the restaurant is not being kept clean enough for modern expectation.
Today we take the mixed rice, with us some vegetable and Honey chicken and "Banjir" some curry chicken. Vegetable is quite cold already consider the hour it sit there but the taste is not bad actually. Curry chicken is good too as it is not too spicy to consume. The Honey chicken is one worth mentioning, it is full of honey flavor and the chicken meat is not hard to chew on, definitely a good Honey chicken that local folks should not miss out. The whole plate cost about RM8Services here is not excellent, as we have to call out to the waiter few time to get our drinks even though there isn't many people around to justify the delay. One thing about local stall is, the waiter always don't service with a smile and i think this is something lacking in modern day Mamak stall.
