I was surprised when I saw a RT pastry stall in front of Daiso, I was wondering if this was a rip off cashing in on the popularity of RT cake house or the the authentic RT cake house. After confirming with the sales girl they are from the same RT cake house, I bought a box of these cream "puffs" home. It looks like a cross between a chinese styled cupcake and a cream puff, with a large amount of sickly sweet strawberry cream in the middle of a miniature cupcake. The layer of sugar dusting melts

After confirming with the sales girl they are from the same RT cake house, I bought a box of these cream "puffs" home. It looks like a cross between a chinese styled cupcake and a cream puff, with a large amount of sickly sweet strawberry cream in the middle of a miniature cupcake. The layer of sugar dusting melts at room temperature and I don't recommend leaving this little treat outside the fridge if you are not eating it. The cream was light and fluffy while the sugar coating on top of the cake melts easily in the mouth.
