One of the few things which I bought and took away from the pasar malam was from the bachang stall.Bachang generally means glutinous rice dumpling. The stall sells a variety of bachang, from the regular meat bachang to the 'kan sui' alkaline dumpling. I bought the latter as part of dinner.

The 'kan sui' alkaline dumpling is quite nice, as it is fresh and very chewy. Dipping the dumpling with kaya is a good combination to eat to dumpling as it gives the dumpling a sweet but chewy texture.

For RM1 each dumpling, it is a fair price, althought I felt that the dumpling was a little small.
