We had some Muslim colleagues joining us for lunch the other day. As we usually go for non-halal food, this cafe offers some decent Halal food.Situated near the famous Lan Jie at USJ 1, Nine 10 has been around for quite some time, and it has served many of my colleagues for lunch and dinner for many years.They serve beers at night and hosts football matches. It also has a nice pool table for those who would want to play pool.Lunch time is much more toned down compared to dinner time of course. T

They have set lunch, which comes with a main course and drinks. I ordered the Nasi Goreng Kampung (Kampung Fried Rice) with curry chicken. Ice lemon tea was ordered as beverage of choice.The fried rice was mediocre only, as it lacks the spiciness and fried anchovies in the rice as expected from most Nasi Goreng Kampung. The curry chicken was quite nice, which is served well with the fried rice.
The ice lemon tea was not bad as well. It has a strong aroma, but it has too little ice that by the time I have finished my meal, the ice lemon tea was not cold anymore.
