Brought a foreign colleague here to try some authentic fresh seafood from Klang. The seafood were the main reason why we were here, and so we ordered the fish, prawns and cuttlefish to serve with the Nasi Lemak. The Ikan Bakar (Grilled fish) was served first, which is their signature dish. It came steaming hot, with chunks of meat on it. I am unsure what fish was used, but it certainly was delicious. It was minimally marinated so the freshness of the fish is tasted. Next it is the grilled cuttlefish and grilled prawns.
They were both also marinated the same style as the fish. I like the prawns especially as it is very flavourful and very fresh. The prawn essence from the head flows out the moment I break it apart. It does not have a hint of staleness at all, as all of the prawns were springy and fresh!
I enjoyed the meal, however I am unsure if everybody would have the same taste as me. Some of my colleagues disliked the marinated smell, but I liked it.
I will be sure to come next time.
