Serving delicious Chinese cuisine, award winning Din Tai Fung has 4 outlets in Malaysia at The Gardens Mall, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Empire Shopping Gallery Subang Jaya and e@Curve Mutiara Damansara. Din Tai Fung specializes in dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) as well as traditional Taiwanese and Shanghainese cuisine. The restaurant is well decorated in a modern interpretation of traditional Oriental feel. The service is good here with highly attentive servers to fulfill every patron's requests. Being
To have the perfect dip sauce, try to pour 1 part soy sauce and 3 parts vinegar into the ginger dish. Place the Xiao Long Bao onto your spoon and make a small hole to release the broth inside. Therefore, have it while served hot before the skin lost its moisture and hard to make hole after it turned cold. Place some ginger on the Xiao Long Bao according to your own preference. For more luxurious choice, I tried the premium Truffle Xiao Long Bao that costs 14 Ringgit Malaysia for 2 pieces or 36 Ringgit Malaysia for 6 pieces. Even without the usual accompaniments, it has a unique taste of its own as the natural flavors of pork and imported truffles (chef use a special blend of black and white truffle) well complement each other.
Din Tai Fung has a wide selection of simple yet delectable fare of menu that cooked healthily with fresh ingredients. I shall definitely come back here for more great dining experience!
