1.Whisk eggs till frothy. Gradually add in sugar and continue to whisk till thick, creamy and firm peaks are formed. Add in vanilla essence and whisk well. 将鸡蛋打发至多泡,分次加入糖,并继续打发至浓稠和硬,加入香草精,打发均匀。
2.Sift and divide self-raising flour into 3 portions. Fold flour into the mixture batch by batch. Add in ice cream soda and mix well. 将自发面粉过筛并分成3份,然后分次加入鸡蛋混合物中;加入冰淇淋苏打,混合均匀。
3.Pour batter into desired mould and steam over high heat for 20 minutes. 将面糊倒入所喜爱的模型中,然后用大火蒸20分钟即可。
Tips
If you prefer to steam a bigger cake, line a 7 or 8 inch bamboo tray with grease proof paper or a piece of wet cloth, and steam over high heat for 30 to 35 minutes. 若要蒸更大的蛋糕,就要在1个7或8寸竹笼上铺一张防油纸或湿布,然后用大火蒸30至35分钟。
