Ingredient and Portion
Ingredients / 材料
50g unsalted butter / 无盐牛油 50克
120g low gluten flour / 低筋面粉 120克
40g icing sugar / 糖粉 40克
1 egg yolk (beaten) / 蛋黄(打散) 1粒
40g orange zest / 橙皮屑 40克

Decoration / 装饰
Adequate biscuit stick / 饼干条 适量
Adequate pumpkin seed / 南瓜子 适量
1. Soften butter to room temperature. Add icing sugar.

2. Cream butter with icing sugar till fluffy.

3. Gradually add egg yolk and stir till well combined.

4. Sift in flour and orange zest.

5. Knead briefly till it forms a dough.

6. Roll the dough into a log. Wrap it tightly with a cling film and rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
把面团揉成长条圆筒状,以保鲜膜裹好,冷藏1小时 让其松弛。

7. Remove the dough from the fridge and cut into 1cm thick slices. Insert a biscuit stick and a pumpkin seed into the top of each cookie for garnishing. Repeat the steps till all dough is used up.
取出面团切成1公分厚片,在顶端压入一块饼干条和 一个南瓜子装饰。重复此步骤直用完所有面团。

8. Line a pan with parchment paper. Arrange the cookies on top and pan-fry them over low heat for 10 minutes. Turn them over and continue to pan-fry for another 3 minutes.
在平底锅铺上不沾纸,放入饼干,以小火烤约10分 钟,翻面继续烤约3分钟即可。
Alternatively, you can bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 175°C for 10 to 15 minutes.
