1. Line tins with banana leaves for 3 layers. The banana leaves should be 5cm higher than the tins. Fold leaves over edge of the tin & tie with a string.
2. Sift flour into a mixing bowl; mix in water & sugar gradually until sugar dissolves.
3. Pour batter into prepared tins & steam for 12 hours. Maintain water level in the steamer by regularly adding boiling water.
4. When done, cake will turn caramel. Leave in tin to cool completely before unmould.
