Ingredient and Portion
Ingredients A / 材料A
1½ cup water / 水 1½杯
200g caster sugar / 幼糖 200克
3 pandan leaves / 班兰叶 3片


Ingredients B / 材料B
200g rice flour / 粘米粉 200克
3 tbsp green bean flour / 绿豆粉 3汤匙
1½ cup water / 水 1½杯
200ml thick coconut milk / 浓椰浆 200毫升
Some pink, green and orange red colouring / 粉红、青和橙红色素少许
Method
1. Place Ingredients B (except colouring) in a large bowl and mix until smooth. Leave aside.
材料B(色素除外)放入大碗内,搅拌至柔滑。搁置备用。

2. Add caster sugar and pandan leaves in a pot. Add in water and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
锅中加入幼糖和班兰叶,然后加入水,以中火煮至糖溶化。

3. Immediately pour the pandan syrup into flour mixture and stir well. Strain the mixture through a sieve.
马上将班兰糖浆倒入粘米粉混合料中,拌匀后过筛。

4. Reserve two ½ cups of batter. Add green colouring to the first ½ cup and mix well. Add orange red colouring to the second ½ cup and mix well.
保留两份面糊,每份½杯。将青色素和橙红色素分别加入½杯面糊中拌匀。

5. Divide the remaining batter into two equal portions. Add pink colouring to the first portion and keeping the second portion white.
将剩余的面糊分成两等份,其中一份加入粉红色素拌匀。另一份保留白色。

6. Line and grease a 7-inch square cake tin with plastic sheet.
取一7寸四方蛋糕模,抹油后垫上塑胶纸。

7. Pour ½ cup (115g-120g) of white batter into the tin and steam over medium heat for 4 minutes.
将½杯(115克-120克)白面糊倒入蛋糕模内,以中火蒸4分钟。

8. Pour ½ cup of pink batter into the tin and steam for another 4 minutes.
倒入½杯粉红面糊,再蒸4分钟。

9. Repeat Method 7-8 and steam each layer for 4 minutes.
重复做法7-8,每层蒸4分钟。

10. Pour green batter into the tin and steam for 4 minutes.
将青面糊倒入蛋糕模内,蒸4分钟。

11. Pour ½ cup of pink batter into the tin and steam for 4 minutes.
倒入½杯粉红面糊,再蒸4分钟。

12. Pour ½ cup of white batter into the tin and steam for another 4 minutes.
倒入½杯粉白面糊,再蒸4分钟。

13. Repeat Method 11-12 and steam each layer for 4 minutes.
重复做法11-12,每层蒸4分钟。

14. Lastly pour orange red batter into the tin. Steam over low heat for 30 minutes.
最后倒入橙红面糊,以小火蒸30分钟。

15. Remove the tin from steamer and leave to cool before cutting.
取出蛋糕模,搁置待凉后即可切块。
