Ingredient and Portion
Ingredient A
5 kembung / mackerel (whole) / 马胶鱼(整条) 5条
2 litres water / 清水 2公升

Ingredient B
6 slices asam keping / tamarind pulp / 亚叁果 6片
2 stalks lemongrass (crushed) / 香茅(打碎)2支
25g belacan / 巴拉煎 25克
5 dried chilli / 辣椒干 5条
Seasoning
1 tsp sugar / 糖 1茶匙
1/2 tsp MSG (optional) / 味精(选择性)1/2茶匙
salt, according to taste / 盐 适量





Method
1.Clean and remove the fish innards. Set aside.
清除鱼内脏,待用。

2.Bring water to boil, add in Ingredients B and simmer for 15 minutes.
水煮沸,加入材料B,煮约15分钟。

3.Add seasonings and fish, switch to a lower heat, and simmer till fish is completely cooked.
加入调味料和鱼,关小火和煮至鱼熟即可。
