Now you can enjoy savoury Char-Siu sandwich at home! With the use of secret weapon – Coke, everyone can make delicious Char-Siu. Stuff it into Chinese steamed bun, how yummy!

在家也能做出超好吃的蜜汁叉烧! 只要有可乐这个超级秘密武器就不需要担心会失败啦。再搭配割包一起吃,简直太赞了!
Ingredient and Portion
300g pork picnic shoulder / 梅花肉 300g
1/4 cup of Coke / 可乐 1/4杯
4 tbsp soy sauce / 酱油 4汤匙
2 tbsp sugar / 糖 2汤匙
4 tbsp rice wine / 米酒 4汤匙
2 tsp sesame oil / 麻油 2茶匙
3 cloves garlic / 蒜头 3瓣
2 tbsp honey / 蜂蜜 2汤匙
6 steamed buns / 割包 6个
6 peanut candy bars / 花生糖 6个
Some coriander / 香菜 适量
Method
1. Mince the garlic.
将蒜头切末备用。

2. Stab two sides of pork picnic shoulder with a fork.
用叉子在梅花肉两面上戳洞。

3. Add Coke, soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil and minced garlic to the meat and marinate overnight.
加入可乐、酱油、米酒、麻油和蒜末,抹均匀后腌一个晚上。

4. Wrap the marinated pork with a baking paper sheet. Bake it at 180°C for 40 minutes.
腌好的梅花肉用烘焙纸包起密封,以180°C烤40分钟。

5. Slice the barbequed pork, crush the peanut candy bars, stuff them together with coriander into steamed bun. The delicious honey coke char-siu sandwich is now ready to serve.
将烤好的叉烧切片,把花生糖压碎,再和香菜一起塞到割包里,即完成。
Tips
1. Normal white bread can be used to replace steamed bun. Cut the crusts off the bread and use a kitchen knife to flatten the bread. Fold the bread into half and steam it, as delicious as steamed bun!
如果没有割包,可以将白面包去边后压平,再稍微蒸一下,一样好吃。
