SiewMai, the Chinese steamed pork and shrimp dumplings, are one of the most popular food in dim sum restaurant.
烧卖是最多人点的点心之一,而自制烧卖也不难,食材也简单,用上鲜虾和猪肉,不能少了云吞皮,吃起来超棒的!

Ingredient and Portion
Minced pork 240g / 猪肉碎 240g
Fresh Prawn 240g / 中型虾子 240g
20 Wanton skin / 云吞皮 约20片
Carrot about 1cm / 红萝卜 约1cm长
Seasoning
1 1/2 tsp salt / 盐 1 1/2茶匙
1/3 tsp pepper / 胡椒粉 1/3茶匙
1 tbsp sugar / 糖 1大匙
1 tbsp sesame oil / 麻油 1大匙
1 tbsp corn flour / 玉蜀黍粉 1大匙
Method
1. Shell the shrimp, wash and set aside.
虾去壳去肠,切粒备用。
2. Mix the minced pork together with seasoning, put into big bowl and stir evenly with the shrimp.
将所以调味料与猪肉碎混合,然后再剁碎,最后加入虾,搅拌起胶即可。
3. Carrot cut into dices and put aside.
红萝卜切小粒备用。
4. Remove the edge of wanton skins (about 1cm), put in the filling and wrap.
把云吞皮的四角除去(大约1cm),把肉馅放在去了角的云吞皮中间,慢慢从边缘开始包起来。
5. Shape the SiewMai.
拇指和食指稍微挤压,让烧卖看起来有一点“腰身”,然后用匙子把隆起的肉馅抹平。
6. Put some carrot or other ingredient for garnish.
做好后,把烧卖放入碟上,可以随自己喜好加入萝卜碎或是其他材料做为点缀。
7. Steam for 10 minute.
蒸大约10分钟。
