1. Pour thick coconut milk in a wok, turn on medium heat, stir until strong steam appear, and reduce to low heat. 把浓椰浆倒入锅内,用中火不停炒至冒烟,然后转慢火。
2. Continue stirring until white lumps form and coconut oil is extracted. 继续不停手地拌炒,至椰浆成颗粒,并炒至椰油渗出。
3. Remove immediately from wok and sieve into a porcelain or a stainless steel container. Leave to cool and cover with lid. 椰油渗出后,马上取出过滤进瓷器或白钢罐内,待凉后加盖密封即可。
Tips
For refining coconut oil, you are not advisable to use the packing coconut milk.
