Home-style Herbal soup is only using chicken and other herbal ingredients to boil it. The essence of the herbal ingredients makes the soup taste fresh! Without ajinomoto and only herbal ingredients is good for health!

Ingredient and Portion
Ingredients A 材料A :
1 chicken, cleaned and drained / 鸡(洗净,沥干)1只
some salt and pepper (to taste) / 盐和胡椒粉(调味)适量

Ingredients B 材料B :
12g bei qi / 北芪 12克
20g solomonseal rhizome/ yu zhu / 玉竹 20克
2 pieces angelica root slice/dang gui pian / 当归片 2片
8 red dates / 红枣 8粒
1/2 tbsp wolfberry / 枸杞 1/2汤匙
3 pieces Szechuan lovage root/chuan xiong / 川芎 3片
5g codonopsis/ dang shen / 党参 5克
13g Chinese wild yam/ huai shan / 淮山 13克
5 dried longan / 龙眼干5粒
800ml water / 清水 800毫升
1. Rinse all Chinese herbs of Ingredients B, combine with water in a stock pot, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.

2. Place chicken in a double boiler, add in mixture from Method 1 and 1.2 litres of boiling water, stew over low heat for 2 hours. Add in some salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
