For me, Onigiri is a Japanese food, like sushi. But sushi is seasoned with vinegar/ Sushi sauce and embraced by seaweed. Onigiri, on the other hand,can be salty or otherwise, and it appear conventionally triangular in shape.Otherwise, it can be mould into anime like Hello Kitty , Panda forming a part of Bento also.Okaka and Tanuki Rm 3.80 per piece.

I like to eat combo meal, but when I went there again with my boyfriend, we didn't enjoy much. He claimed that it is quite expensive because for the same portion of food, he can get it at much more cheaper price.

and my mood is affected by him... ( this is personal cases, I think he just distainted any food that he don't like)
Alternatively, you can opt for Niko-niko set for heavy meal. I would choose this if I wanted a balance meal. A sushi rice of your choice.(Tanuki, Furikake, Okaka, and side dishes.(Seaweed, Tobiko, Scallop. Potato Salad)
The miso soup is so yummy! The best I ever tried about the Japanese cuisine, it won't too salty, yet enough of taste.The tobiko is real in bouncy too!The potato salad is commonly tasty as well.Special Niko-niko Reimen Rm12.90

Because the Tanuki is very yum.I took away Tanuki. A bit dissatified about the take away waiting time. It took about 10 mins or more to get the take away.However, what impress me about this restaurant is that the Boss is very particular about the food quality and the service of waiter there.
See~ service and food are both their priorities.
When I urged them to make it faster. With an apologetic face, they explained, because they prepared according to the orders accept. So, you might need to wait longer especially during the dinner time which start 7.30pm- 9.00pm.

Rasa Lain is very famous in Ipoh and even popular after Axian visit, we have to call upfront for booking to ensure we got a table. It started to get crowded after 6.30PM and hot seafood like crab and prawn are finish fast.

I like Pig Tail very much because the meat is very soft, cook with braise peanut make it even better.

Crab sweetness, pork lard and ham added taste to the Tang Hun and little bit of pepper make it even perfect. Size of the crabs is larger than usual and fresh.

Bean Sprouts Chicken is one the very famous dish in Ipoh, on Jalan Yau Tet Sin alone tree restaurant selling Bean Sprouts Chicken. Restaurant Onn Kee, Restaurant Ong Kee and Restaurant Lou Wong, we choose Restaurant Onn Kee as most of us tried Lou Wong before and Ong Kee seem to be less people.

Start our Ipoh stomach building from one of the famous Dim Sum in Ipoh, Yoke Fook Moon. Yoke Fook Moon is a 2 storey building and operate for brunch and dinner.We reach around 10.30am and it was very crowded, we din’t realize there is 2nd floor and stupidly waiting for table around 20min untill one aunty told us to go upstair.

This pizza hut outlet is in the same area with my hostel, after I had placed our order via phone. I need to wait around 1 hour to get my food. My food suppose need to reach my place  in 30 minutes since the service crew told me that,but luckily the food still hot .

Struggle to find a Chinese restaurant after our hot spring tour at Felda Residence, Sungkai. End up we just turn on GPS and look for nearest restaurant which is 17KM away but no choice as we are too hungry and desperate for food so we just head down to the restaurant located in Bidol, Restaurant Xin Tian Tian Lai.Tau Fu RM12, Tau Fu cook with Ham and dried shrimp, a little bit of spicy. Recommended.Dong Po Rou RM13, it doesn’t taste or look like Dong Po Rou as Dong Po Rou suppose to be a lot of fat and oily. This dish is not smooth and hard, not recommended.Glass Chicken(Po Li Ji) RM13, it taste like sweet and sour chicken. Normal. 

This is Vege Lover Pizza. We ordered and take away during our shopping at AEON Manjung.
Personally, i really love to eat Pizza full of vegetables. The pizza is full of Capsicums, onions, pineapple tidbits, tomatoes, mushrooms and Mozzarella cheese on Tomato Pizza sauce. Please bear in mind that it is not suitable for vegetarians.

This is how the Fried Rice by Thai Food Stall looked like. The taste is not bad at all.
The chef is really from Thailand. The ingredients includes, chicken egg, some vege, carrot and of course Rice. The texture is bright colour and  we love it so much.

Nasi Beriani with Fried Drumstick to fill up my tummy on the bus transit at Terminal AmanJaya, Ipoh, Perak.The taste is very delicious. I didn't know if i'm too hungry or it just taste great with the perencah rempah. However, the price of this dish is RM13. Isn't it too expensive? Yes, i think it's very expensive. Though, the food is tasty, it's very expensive.

I believe the owner is Indian Muslim ~ Mamak.
The restaurant is full of waiters from India or Pakistan.

" burps & giggles"hmm. an intriguing name for a restaurant/cafe.

well, its whimsical name was what initially captured my attention but it was the other blog reviews that brought me there.there was a wait list when we arrived but managed to get a table in 5 minutes because we agreed to squeeze in a small table. i savored the artistic, bright and disjointed art murals that crossed the three petite old school shops. a collection of vintage rustic decor pieces gave the restaurant character that revolved around childhood nostalgia. my sisters, on the other hand, had a different views on the decor and wasn't too fond of it.

the pork free menu can be found all around the shop on chalk boards but it irks me that they didn't have printed menus. since there was a lack of manpower due to cny celebration, the restaurant served only a limited menu of gourmet burgers and i was slightly disappointed since i was looking forward to taste some savory crepes. good thing they still offered the other item i came here for - the prized wagyu burger!

burger :: bam-bam burger | wagyu pattie, egg, cheese, tomato, beetroot, carrot, horseradish, onion (rm 28 )prized wagyu patty for under rm 30 is considered a steal. the tower of sunny side up egg, slice of slightly melted cheese, wagyu patty, a thick slice of tomato and beetroot with a slather of horseradish sandwiched between the slightly toasted burger bun with carrot slaw.

just listing out the ingredients itself is quite the mouthful, so needless to say, trying to wrap my mouth around the burger was definitely a challenge that i had to resort to knife and fork to devour this (i'm probably getting a disapproving look from burger connoisseurs - sorry!)let's begin with the star of the burger - the patty. since the meat was finely minced, it was difficult for me to discern if it was truly wagyu. cooked medium well, the well seasoned beef patty was moist and juicy to the point it falls apart but i would have preferred a better crust on the meat. the burger was over-sauced from the carrot slaw made it very rich on top of the sunny side up egg. in the midst of the different flavors, the cheese and beetroot faded into the background, almost unnoticed. a solid burger but would have definitely preferred less sauce on this burger that over powered everything else.

chicken sausage & cherry tomato quiche | soft baked eggs in puff pastry (rm 10)burps & giggles calls it egg tart but it resembled more of a quiche to me. this breakfast favorite can be found in the pastry display by the counter.

encased in a buttery and flaky puff pastry, the chicken sausage pieces and eggs were soft baked where the undercooked yolk oozed its golden love over the dish to give some nice richness, which is makes it lovely.while it was tasty and my sisters actually chose this as a favorite over the burger for the simple pleasures of breakfast elements, it could have shone brighter with a sprinkle of seasoning, more cherry tomatoes for a tart freshness and fresh herb to just bring the whole dish to a home run.

coffee :: latte (rm 10)i was first greeted by lovely coffee foam art. call me a picky coffee drinker, this latte was overbrewed, proven by its over-bitterness. (btw, i know coffee is supposed to be bitter but good coffee has a great balance of bitterness and tartness) so i wasn't a huge fan of this glass of latte.

cake 10 | cheesecake (rm 10)the dessert choices of the day were also as limited as their entree menu. my sister picked out a cheesecake, which had a base that i'd venture a guess was oreo crumb crust. perhaps an oreo cheesecake? sadly, there was something slightly off putting about the flavors, which was also too sweet for me. there was the occasional punch of mint, which i am not a fan of and neither is the edible confetti on the cake.

burps & giggles has a promising menu with a huge selection that could make boys burp and girls giggle except it didn't really happen for us. with a some finesse in the execution of food, it could leave us in stitches.
