Talking about chicken rice, it’s been circling around my childhood since long long time ago. Thus, that’s one of the reason I sometimes would shun away from this dish whenever there is other options, hehe Anyway, after some few rounds of suggestion from my dad, finally I gave in to his recommendations. Guess what? After this recent encounter with this menu, I kind of start to give it another try For your information, this stall has been operating here for quite some time, and it definitely has

For your information, this stall has been operating here for quite some time, and it definitely has its own lines of loyal customers. Aside from the amiability of the owners, the food served was pretty good, I would say. And where on earth could you get a plate of decent yummy chicken rice for just RM2!

Since we are coming in a family, so we asked for a mixed plate, ie: Steamed chicken aside and the other would be the roasted palate like Roasted Duck, Pork and Char Siew.

The steamed chicken was tender indeed with its natural sweetness in the meat. Most importantly, it’s adequately cooked as I can’t bear to see if there was any blood stain in sight ~.~ Then, it was layered on generous amount of bean sprouts. The sprouts were very pulpy and crunchy indeed!

As for the roaster plate, the Roasted Pork, or ‘Siew Yuk” was juicy in its three layer meat. Each layer gave you an unique enjoyment by themselves and the skin were crispy too! Not forgetting the roasted duck, which is also succulent where the duck smell was nearly gone unnoticeable. As for the Char Siew, it’s aromatically glazed and grilled to perfection. They taste slightly sweet and delish when paired with the in house chilly sauce.

If you feel dry, you have got the soup to wash it down
I guess I’d be yearning for more after this
