I'm a big fan of egg tart but I didn't get to try portuguese style egg tart before. Until today, I finally got the chance to take a bite on portugeuse egg tart made by Seremban Cakey Siew Pow, and I totally fall in love with it.

They actually distribute their products to Malacca and I happened to try their egg tart at Malacca. Besides egg tart, they are selling siew pow, pineapple tart, salted egg puff, kaya puff and etc.Their portuguese egg tart looks super tempting, the perfectly-baked color already gets me drooling. The tart is super crispy, the texture is more like a puff, the outer crust has multiple layers and the inner custard is really creamy and egg-ish. The custard is so moist and it would melt in your mouth.

I ended up having two of these and I think it tastes pretty authentic, just like the one you will be able to eat at Macau,HongKong.

Curry chicken bun and yin Yong bun is a must eat food whenever you are in PD. The taste of the curry is delicious and the gravy is thick. The softness of the bun make you starving for more. Must try dragon tiger seafood pot as well. (Chinese pronounced ‘Lung Fu Wui’) which roughly means the ‘meeting of Dragon (crab) and Tiger (prawn)’.This extraordinary dish is a combination of milky & mild curry soup, fused with generous servings of seafood ingredients such as crabs, prawns, squid, clams and freshly sliced fish served in a boiling pot.

You must try their Curry chicken bun and yin Yong bun. The curry gravy is thick and the taste is fantastic. The softness of the bun make you starving for more. Try also dragon tiger seafood pot. 我吃了炸鸡排套餐,有一份炸鸡排,有几种汤和面食供选择,自己可选择喜爱的汤和面食自由配搭。侍应生端上食物时,是一份很大的炸鸡排,味道很不错,面食份量中等,但价格很便宜,只需RM11.++ 而已,值得一试。

说到芙蓉美食，每个人都会想到芙蓉烧包。在大道旁的芙蓉烧包城更是我每次路过，必定会停下来外带一些烧包的地方。可是据说城里其实还有其他品牌的烧包是比芙蓉烧包城更出色的，其中一家就是 - 亚洲烧包，所以我今天就特别来印证一下。亚洲烧包就在出名的姨婆老鼠粉的对面，是一家旁边的店铺。店的后方是制作烧包和其他烘焙产品的地方，前面则是售卖烧包的店面，完全是现做现卖。一走到店门口我们就闻到很香的烘焙的味道了，有不少外地来的人都是来这里大包小包地带走的。除了烧包，这里还有不少种类的面包和烘焙成品都很受欢迎。烧包 - 每粒RM1.60

这里的烧包分成两种，有猪肉和鸡肉馅的，我当然是选了猪肉的啦！打包回家后还是带有一点微热，饼皮很酥脆，但是不够香。猪肉馅的味道还可以，但整体上比较干，如果再多一点肉汁就会更好了。亚洲烧包和芙蓉烧包城相比，我觉得还是后者的比较好吃。

我还试了很多人推荐的蛋挞，感觉还不错。趁热吃的饼皮很松，很有奶油的香味，蛋液带有淡淡的姜味，很有小时候的味道哦！

几年前在芙蓉烧蟹海鲜村试过他们的招牌烧螃蟹后，心里一直对那独特的味道念念不忘。可是后来每次经过芙蓉的时候，总是已经吃得饱饱的，没办法再容得下那烧螃蟹。这一次从马六甲回吉隆坡的路上，我调好了用餐的时间，安排好在芙蓉吃午餐，才得以再来一尝这美味。周六中午的人不多，点菜和上菜的速度都很快。在等待上菜的当儿，每一桌都会有一盘特色小吃，看起来像是一小片炸春卷皮，蘸上他们独有的辣椒酱，还蛮特别的，不知不觉会吃下很多。啦啦炒米粉 - RM25

先来一些可以垫饱肚子的主食 - 啦啦炒米粉。米粉炒得很干身，不会太油，里面放了不少带壳的啦啦，味道不太有啦啦的鲜味但是很好吃。他们选用的啦啦又大颗又新鲜，整体上我觉得还不错。清炒树苗 - RM12

清炒树苗炒得够火候，不过不失。烧螃蟹 - RM70/kg

再来就是我朝思暮想的烧螃蟹了，其他地方鲜少可以吃到这样做法的螃蟹！螃蟹的外壳有一层类似焦糖的东西，味道虽然很咸，但是很香，我觉得有点像鸡精的鲜味。

吃这道螃蟹我喜欢跟家人或很熟的朋友一起吃，因为我会忍不住想把螃蟹外壳上的烧烤汁舔个一干二净，毫无仪态可言。他们用的螃蟹很多肉，味道很鲜，可以吃到这个真的超满足的！酸辣螃蟹 - RM70/kg

我们还点了另外一道不同口味的酸辣螃蟹，酸酸辣辣的酱汁配上小馒头，绝配！如果那酱汁可以多一点点的甜味那就更好了。

芙蓉烧蟹海鲜村的烧螃蟹，是我觉得无人可以取代的美味。下次有到芙蓉一游的话一定要再来吃一顿！

Sometimes we like taking a mini-roadtrip out of town for some fun and relaxation. Plus the good food that we come across also is a main motivation, especially when we get to Seremban. Where they are famous for their siew paos and also the BBQ Crabs.

I've heard really good reviews about Seafood Village but hadn't got the chance to try it before until a few weeks ago. Of course we had to order the famed BBQ Crabs. They were pretty large in size and also very meaty even in the body sections, plus very fresh as the meat tasted sweet and incredibly succulent. I had a good time just digging into every nook and crevice of the body section while peeling out the white meat.

The BBQing made the crustacean so deliciou while giving it a nice depth of flavour that would not over-power the original sweetness. I kind of understand why this was highly raved about.They provided us with this chilli sauce to dip the crab meat in. Although I prefer without just to enjoy the freshness of the crab meat in its purest form, this sauce was highly addictive. The punch and kick from the chilli was so good that I kept going back for more. For more choice we also ordered the steamed fish with bean paste sauce. This too was very good because the sauce was thick but super flavourful while the fish was super duper fresh. I like how the meat was not mushy in the slightest, but came nicely succulent especially the cheeks which is my favourite bit to eat. 

This place is definitely worth the long drive down to Seremban. However be prepared for a rather expensive dinner because the seafood isn't exactly the cheapest around. However the quality is really up to par. 

The Famous Seremban Beef Noodles at Pasar Besar Seremban , I have list this shop down on my google map quite a while ago to visit this legendary beef noodle 牛腩面 stall at Pasar Besar Seremban .Had This opportunity to try out while passby seremban to melaka , we purposely turn in and head to Pasar Besar Seremban for our Lunch before back on the road to melacca .During The Lunch Time , there have more than 20 stall that still operating their business until 3P.M , It have three famous stall In Pasar Besar Seremban , Mee Hoon Sotong@Hioong Kee (stall 753) , Ngau Lam mee@Xin Ru Kee (stall 748) and Hakka Mee@Tow Kee (stall 810) . Beside the Beef Noodle , I wanna try out the Mee Hoon Sotong too but too bad they only operate from 5.30A.M till 11.30A.M , most of the time will sold out early .Lai Fun Beef Noodle(Soup)Lai Fun Beef Noodle(Dry) Mee Hoon & Mee Beef Noodle Soup

The beef noodle here uses ‘lai fun’ thick vermicelli as their own made house noodle , When they served the beef noodle to our table , the beef aroma from the bowl is really tempting . The first sip of the soup was really satisfying and the bite of the beef slices were really awesome .

Myself try out the dry version since the stuff said it was their signature dish because it was drenched in the thick savoury gravy . The gravy has a stronger beefy aroma and it was very appetizing . The starchy sauce, peanuts and sesame seeds are the other toppings that make the flavor stand out from the rest . It comes with a bowl of soup, so don't worry about not able to try the soup if you ordered a dry ones .

I would like to recommend you guys try the dry version . You only can found this dry version here , in Seremban .

I can said it is the best Nasi Kandar in Nilai Town. It is located at Desa Cempaka, Nilai. Lawood served different variety of Nasi Kandar. Such as Sambal Sotong, Ikan Bakar and others.Although their have large space for their customers but it still not going to be enough during lunch hour. Lawood served semi-service, where you can either wait at your table and let their waiter get order from you. Or you can line up and order your foods and also take you food to your table.

The most famous dish are Nasi Kandar with their own marinated Fried Chicken. Juicy, flavorful and tender. Yum~ Each Nasi Kandar is served with Vegetables and their Special Sauces! Spicy and flavouful~ I love their Sauces and Chicken! Yummy~~~Overall, I definitely recommend this to you! Moreover, their also provide catering service if you are interested.

Chopped tomatoes served on Italian bread. The bread is crispy on the outer part of the bread. Trust me, you will never get enough of this. The bread has been cut into one bite size. This unique combination look so attractive. POLLO ALLA CACCIATORE - RM38

It's a chicken breast grilled and yellow cream sauce with vegetables and served with mashed potato. I'm a huge chicken breast lover, and I found this dish really really delicious! They used boneless, skinless chicken breast which I think it's a great choice. The sliced chicken breast is so juicy and they can't be beat! Yellow cream sauce is never gone bad when it comes to a combination with chicken. Try this if you're a chicken breast lover! FILETTO DI SALAMONE - RM55

Baked salmon served with chefs vegetables, mashed potato and sweet bell pepper sauce. The salmon is juicy, flaky and delicious. This recipe is well pair with the mashed potato. The salmon taste crazily delicious with the sweet bell sauce. Best bell sauce I've eaten so far, it doesn't taste bitter at all! TORTINO CALDO - RM25

This is a warm oven-baked dark chocolate pudding cake.This tortino caldo portion is a bit small. Even a children is able to finish this! Calories? No one care about the calories especially when the warm chocolate in front of us! A scoop of vanilla ice cream right beside the chocolate pudding. I just don't get enough of this, i need MORE!TIRAMISU - RM30

1 dessert is never enough, so we ordered another dessert , the coffee coated layered sponge cake, with mascarpone cheese filled in a chocolate cup. It taste so sweet with a slight alcohol presence. It might not suitable for small kids, but definitely a must try dessert if you love the combination of alcohol and tiramisu. The layered sponge cake is so sexy, light, airy and soft! It literally melt in your mouth! Do visit Glass Restaurant in Thistle Hotel if you're looking for fine dining experience in Port Dickson!
