Well arrange and warm welcome by management of Pavilion and Grand Millennium During the event that organize by seeties that makes us have this opportunity to dine our dinner here , Serai(Lemongrass) is a midscale malay cuisine restaurant that served Malaysia cuisine with a clean modern setting .The restaurant located at 7th floor in pavillion , Serai served East Coast Region Local kelantan dishes . aside from the mains , home made cakes and deserts as well as unique will promise to the most discerning tastebuds .The simple interior of the restaurant Looks good and clean , The light wooden furnitures and symmetric counter tops complemented the theme altogether . seems it was a nice place for bringing tourist friends to experience Malay Food without sweating under the hot sun under the roof . And again! who can say no to free food whereby my bos would like to treat me. Hehe. One of my lucky day is that i was able to try this Serai as i have never had the time to go here because of the traffic and the parking difficulty unless you have your boss to tell you that your lunch time is 2 hours.  My first impression to this restaurant is that it must be expensive because of the interior is very exclusive and spacious. But then the price only ranging from RM15 - RM40. I think it is quite reasonable, don't you think? (but don't come here everyday unless you want to go broke  ) So i tried this nasi ambeng and the pavlova. My boss tried the the wantan mee if i'm not mistaken. So the Nasi Ambeng is a lot for me. Sadly, i could not finished tho its delicious (9/10 for this dish). The wantan me is just 50-50. Just an OK taste. Well, lets move on to pavlova. They will not be able to compete with Alexis as it is a bit too creamy for me but the texture and all is good. Also, a plus for the service! as we got our dish in less than 10 minutes! From what i have noticed, the crowd was mostly the office people as it is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It was fullhouse, definitely a favorite to this people. Overall: Fullhouse on weekdays during lunch hour, try asean food continue reading

Recently I received a voucher from the shopping mall that enables one to redeem up to 2 kid meals with purchase of a main course at this restaurant. The restaurant is located at Level 7 and we have a hard time trying to locate this place. As it is already past 9pm when we reach the restaurant and the restaurant closes at 9.45pm, we decide to takeaway the meal. We show the staff the voucher, but it is not acknowledged by him. After that we are showed to a series of staffs and left waiting outside the restaurant without a reply. One of the staffs who turns out to be the assistant manager, evens gives an excuse that he is not a regular staff here and therefore does not know about this promotion. After a very long series of talks, the voucher is finally acknowledged by the restaurant. We order a main of Fish & Chips (RM29+) with Nasi Goreng with Chicken Satay (RM12+) and Fish and Chips (RM12+) as the free kid meals.Another bad surprise for us when we look through our takeaway. Instead of Nasi Goreng with Chicken Satay, the takeaway turns out to be Chicken Mushroom Spaghetti (RM12+). By then we are too angry and tired to ask for exchange with the staff, and also it is almost closing time. The fish and chips has a stale oil taste. The pasta fairs slightly, although it is a bit too creamy and rich.Overall this is a very bad experience with the restaurant. No wonder there is not much customers in this restaurant, even it is decorated very classy. With this kind of service, who would want to dine in here. Poor service plus wrong order equals bad experience. continue reading
