The cloning attempts at Old Town White Coffee's business model is prevalent in the F&B industry today, but it is easier said than done. Roti Bakar Kopitiam is one of the few success stories.There is an outlet at University Place, a short distance from the USM campus entrance next to the hostels. Therefore, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that most customers are college undergraduates.I was on a tight appointment nearby and needed a quick lunch fix, so I dashes into this cafe in hopes for a hasty meal.My lunch is just a simple bowl of Minced Chicken Rice (RM6.50). The minced chicken is cooked in dark soya gravy, giving it an appetizing appeal.Also included is one-half hard boiled egg, salted vegetables and a bowl of rice with spring onion garnish.The food is reasonable and worth the price. Looks very tantalizing with the design of this special dish with ring of pineapple on the rice. The matter is the piece of chicken is too sweet as the honey drenched is too sweet~~ and I am wearing braces,I dont know why I feel that its hard to chew on that chicken into smaller pieces,even I found hard too to cut it into smaller pieces using a knife.But the salad is nice! fresh! continue reading
