There is one famous rojak and cendol stall in SS15, along Jalan SS15/3B, just opposite Pan Bakery. This stall normally is having a long queue in the afternoon. No table or chair there, so can just stand there or sit at the road side and enjoy the tasty rojak under the windy tree. Rojak can be described as one type of salad with peanut based sauce for dressing. Normally it comes with yam bean, cucumber, fried bean curd and fritters. The are choices of rojak as per below:Kosong (Plain) – RM 3Telur (with egg) – RM 4Sotong (with squid) – RM 4Sotong & Telur (with squid and egg) – RM 4.50I have ordered the one with squid and egg and one word to describe the rojak, DELICIOUS. After having rojak, is time for a cooling and refreshing cendol especially during hot afternoon. The cendol stall is just beside the rojak stall. Cendol is actually a shaved ice with red bean and cendol (greenish jelly), coconut milk and gula melaka. The cendol is sell at RM1.50 and another word to describe it, NICE~~~ continue reading

This stall has been around for quite some time now. As with my usual routine, I'll pop by after my visit to SJMC every 2 weeks..well @ least once a month. Over the years, I find that they have skimmed on the amount of grounded peanuts in their gravy. Nevertheless, there is still decent amount of chunky peanuts. Above all, I must say their rojak is always fresh till this day. Excellent business they hav during weekends. After patroning for many years, here is my first & most current verdict:Food: 7/10Experience: 8/10 continue reading

The famous Rojak of SS 15 is inevitably one of the best Rojak around the neighborhood. For those from around this area, then you would have probably known about his but to those whom are not yet aware of this, the stall has grown with “extensions” for the past few months now.Apart from those famous delicious and fresh Rojak served in the stall, the combination of rojak and cendol seem to have complement each other so well and during a hot day, this icy cold and yummy cendol immediately serves as thirst quencher. The only irritating hassle is always the endless line you’ll have to wait. On a sunny day, that makes things worse. I sometimes give up if the line is absurdly long. But the good thing is, there are more stalls there now that there is always so much people lining up for the rojak. There is some other stalls with some light snacks but the star is this thing called the keropok sayur. The rest would be common kuih like the fried banana, cucur and lekor.Suddenly this place is even merrier than before this . So if anyone happens to be around this area, do drop by and try this lovely stalls with abundance of snack choices, most of it traditionally delicacy. continue reading

growing up in subang, my parents often used to bring me to SS15's famous rojak on morning weekends, and we'd indulged on them by the roadside. ss15's famous rojak is actually handled by a few muslim-indian men, and located by the roadside as a small stall with a superb long queue of people waiting for their food. basically you order what type you want, and pick it up later and pay. some people can pack it (tapau) but i mostly like to eat it on the spot as its fresher. the choices are very limited - you can either get kosong (plain), with eggs, or with the combination of eggs and squid. i hardly take squid so i would mostly go for eggs. the ingredients inside this big plate are fried tofu-like cake, thinly shredded/sliced cucumbers and boiled egg. served with a good splash of peanut gravy, the entire dish is different from what you can get from a typical rojak as there were no fruits used here. only solely cucumber and their signature fried tofu/cake. having this on the spot is a bonus because the peanut gravy is really sweet and warm, maybe spicy too for newcomers. continue reading

This is one of the famous rojak in this area. You can see that by looking at the queue to get rojak. The queue can easily make you wait up to 10 minutes plus only reach you. The rojak has lots of sengkuang and also the crackers. I always request for extra sauce so that my rojak won't be too dry. The crackers are very crunchy and nice to eat. I like to eat it. Always settle down with cendol after the rojak. The cooling cendol is sweet and nice. continue reading
