Century Egg With Tofu Pho Bo Skewer Taiwanese Red-braised Beef Noodles

一碗好吃的牛肉面,一点都不简单。一串看似简单的肉串,一点技巧都不能少。这也是为什么我喜欢Niú Taste。坐落于St Mary Place的Niú Taste,和Delicious、Black Market餐厅临近。从Raja Chulan Monorail地铁站是3分钟脚程。Niú Taste的招牌挺大的,不过若是晚上时间可能会不小心错过。这一区平常也不会过于热闹,所以不用担心太吵。餐厅里播放着中文和英文流行曲的翻唱。冷气和灯光都调得非常好。餐厅的室内设计很有意思。Mix & Match的风格让餐厅带有古典而不失独特的设计感。餐厅里不乏一些很正统的家具如狮子雕像和屏风。而餐厅有个大圆桌,中间有个水族馆。有点像日本大家围着一个小货车吃着热热的拉面和烧肉串的感觉。大家各吃各的,还可以看渔缸里的鱼啊~看到我身后的开放式厨房,加上挂在屋檐的旗子,就是让人很想喝日本啤或Sake啊!餐厅的服务员的态度很不错。而且很棒的是我们点的每一份餐都是超可口的。Green Tea 绿茶 (RM 8 / pot)虽然很有喝酒的冲动,不过造访时间太早,所以先点了一壶绿茶。绿茶有淡淡的香味,而且很顺口。非常不错。Niu 2 Mix Beef Noodle with Braised Beef Soup (RM 22)Niú Taste的牛肉拉面是招牌菜,所以我们当然不会错过这一道菜。份量算是不小的。牛肉汤我们选择了比较清淡一点的清汤,不过味道还是很足。喜欢比较浓一点的话,可以选择Red Soup。牛肉片切得薄薄的,入口即化,吃了好想再吃啊~就连红萝卜块都煮得很熟,难怪汤会如此入味。面条方面,Q度刚刚好,非常融合。Salmon Belly Rice Soup 鲑鱼拌饭 (RM 18)和鲑鱼拌饭一块送来的热汤非常非常热。当服务员帮我们把汤倒进饭里的时候,整个还在冒烟的。想说,服务员,你的手真的太强了啦。鲑鱼的外皮炸得酥脆,而鱼肉的脂肪把鱼肉的口感和味道都在味蕾上引了出来。加上了热汤的拌饭出奇地融合得特别好。唯一有点煞风景的是鲑鱼的小骨头太多了,吃得有点狼狈。Lamb Loin Saddle (RM 16)餐厅的烤肉串也是公认很棒的。虽然我们已经吃得差不多了,可是还是忍不住点了Lamb Loin试一试。三种口味可以选择:Salt盐 / Teriyaki / Mustard Garlic芥末大蒜我们很保险地选了Teriyaki酱,肉被腌得很入味。肉很多,肉的脂肪也不少。这个价钱其实挺超值的。不过对女生来说,吃得很内疚啊~太Sinful了。非常推荐的一间餐厅。下班后一群同事可以去吃个美味的晚餐,喝个小酒。这种感觉很幸福啊。 continue reading

This is one beautiful restaurant, especially after sunset, filled with crackerjack flourishes that benefit from shadowy lighting.The high-profile choices on the menu: Niu Taste's take on Taiwanese red-braised beef noodlesPrefer porridge? Niu Taste has a fish-flooded version of that too, mixed with tiger grouper meat, stomach & liver that might be an acquired taste (RM28+).Eel liver? Yep, find it here: Skewers of grilled unagi liver teriyaki (RM18+). A very interesting option, slightly more concentrated in flavor than eel flesh. For plain protein, the tender-tasty lamb loin saddle with garlic mustard provides pure pleasure.
