I have visited one of the famous food blog recently and came to know this restaurant was newly opened in my area. Therefore, I have decided to pay a visit since the review was shown positive. This restaurant is owned by the famous steamboat owner-Coco Steamboat which operate at night whereby they are selling Dim Sum during day time.Is a Sunday morning, the restaurant seems quite. To my surprise, is only 3 tables occupied. I have ordered few foods which highlighted in the blog.First, Wanton Mee (RM7.90). Presentation is good. However, I dislike the noodle texture, to me it was too thin and it lost the mouth feel of it. The noodle sauce is on sweet side. If you like the sweet sauce then you will like this.Siew Mai (RM6.50), came in 4 pices in one basket. The first bite of the Siew Mai was no good. It was very hard. Oh my god! Im thinking whether this is the overnight food or this is over-steam it. Taste is not any better.Fried Radish Cake (RM5.90), this is quite normal. Nothing to highlight about.Char Siew Bao (RM6.50), 3 pieces in a basket. Overall was just okay.Overall foods were just normal, but please do not put high expectation if you wish to visit them.

First time visit here..Coco Steamboat at Taman Bukit Hijau.The pork knuckle soup is soo nice..Its my first time to try on this type of soup base for steamboat.Inside the soup have a huge pork knuckle , fu jok , fried yam stick , bak choy and etc.This make the soup so milky and really taste like fish head soup.The set for 2 person .Some seafood , taufu, and etc.The set also have 1 yee mee , mee hoon and 2 eggs. 看见了吧？很大的猪骨在里面哦！在汤底还有很多花芽白和腐皮，这样可以把汤熬得更入味哦！汤底的颜色是奶白色的，有点像鱼头米的感觉 每桌的锅都有大大的猪骨的哦！店主也很不孤寒哦！XD猪肉片都切得很薄，所以不用泡在汤底久久就可以拿来吃了！而且还是嫩嫩的呢，吃起来也不会很硬的感觉 这是也是六个人的分量哦！材料都很新鲜呢！鱼丸是很爽口和弹牙的呢！本人最爱的就是芋头了！因为平常看到的芋头都是紫色的，看到这种颜色有点开心的感觉！（我知道我是山吧，没看过）如果喜欢吃脆脆的芋头的话，我建议不要浸在汤底过久，因为芋头会变得软软粉粉的感觉呢！其实吃火锅，最重要的就是汤底要鲜甜，入味，材料就是要新鲜，这样才会变得好吃！

today raining heavy and weather is cold, so my sister date me for steamboat. and we guess this coco steamboat is the 1st steamboat restaurant open in cheras area with their popular pork bone soup. there was so many customer waiting for the table and take their dinner over there. i wonder how come so many people and all also order the same soup, just realize there only have one taste of soup. even though im not really like the taste of the soup cause they have put black pepper inside it, feel so spicy. but still feel ok with it. i like the hand made pork ball with mushroom. price abit expensive cause the soup charge RM17.8 per bowl.

My friends was brought me to this restaurant to celebrated my birthday. Since most of my friends come here often, I was feel like want to try in order to determine how good and delicious it is. Their soup are milky but unfortunately is they will charge you for every add-up of soup. I can't recall how much they charger, perhaps it is about RM7 per add-up. They do have other soups such as consommé.
