I can sure that most of the Penangites are familiar with the hawkers stalls located along the Chulia Street, especially the famous Wanton Mee and Curry Mee. They open at night. But what I want to feature is the fried fritters stall, just located besides Wanton Mee stall.They have only few choices: Yam Cake, Cha Siew Spring Roll, Radish Cake, Sesame cake (Red bean and Peanut) but everything is just worth trying. They are freshly made and selling fast. I love their sesame cakes with both fillings (red bean and peanut). They were not too oily and the fillings were not too sweet as well. I think their fried fritters are better than what I have in other dim sum places. Definitely you still can have more than one of these fried fritters after filling up your tummy with other hawker foods. They were just simply delicious. continue reading
