Signature Dishes
Heard a lot about the nice Thai food at Cherry Blossom & finally got a chance to try it. There were a few dishes that was completely new to me & it was good...Appetizer was this leaves wrap thing with choices of peanuts, onions, ginger, chili, dried shrimp & a few others which I forgot. I have no idea what it is called but it was very good. Fold the leaf into cone shaped, fill it with the 'ingredients' & put some sauce in it. Yummy!Next up was kerabu, I do not take it so can't comment on the taste.Then we had vegetables, curry chicken, pandan chicken & otak-otak. The curry chicken was nice but nothing special about it, so was the vegetable. However I like the otak-otak, it's one of my favourite dishes. The pandan chicken tasted good but i think it was over-cooked as the outer layer of the chicken was mostly burnt.The most special dish was the crab shell with fillings inside. Sorry, I had no idea what was inside but the fillings were fried till it holds together and not oozing out of the shell. Definitely something to try, simply amazing.
