RM$9.4 continue reading

It is always highly advisable to have breakfast every single day yet many of us actually skipped breakfast, either to sleep in or probably too lazy to cook.Since we are in the latter category, we chose to drive to Imbi Market instead for this awesome heavenly tasted buns and tea. This particular Ah Weng Koh hainanese stall is located in Imbi Market itself together with a few more others on a stretch of probably 4 to 5 small shops. Be here early or later of the day as it is always sardine packed with people. Make up your mind before you grab a seat or else those taking your orders can get quite impatient after awhile. This place is located right next to a Wantan Noodle stall.Of course since we are here, we had their famous Hainanaese Tea and Toasted Buns. Smells so good! The tea itself is a combination of tea and coffee if I'm not wrong, with the right amount of portion the tea was really smooth. Every sip feels like heaven. The toasted bun was good too. A small piece of butter sandwhiched between the buns coupled with the newly toasted buns, melt in our mouth literally. continue reading

Good morning, a wonderful Saturday morning. I have a date today, my date is to have breakfast in Imbi wet market. I woke up in a good mood because I want to drink the hainan which I miss it for so long. Manage to get a parking without hassle, quickily proceed to the food stall and ordered a cup of hot Hainan tea paired with Butter & kaya bun. As usual, the Hainan Tea (RM2.20) serves in few second. Oh.... the same old taste that I wanted. Butter & Kaya bun (RM2.00) was my favourite too. The bun was soft with generous amount of kaya spread. The bun was toasted ahead therefore the butter sandwiched between was melted and oozed out upon my first bite. It was definitely delicious!Next, here comes my bowl of piping hot Curry Noodle (RM6.00). This is the best curry mee available in the wet market. Soup was thick with coconut milk, comes with cockles, bean curds, long bean, char siew and pig skin which the ingredients are pretty standard. I like the curry soup was watery unlike some other curry soup was as thick as gravy which I feel that it will very full. I'm the regular customer here and I always come back for the Hainan Tea and noodle. I have decided to eat the famous Chu Cheong Fun during my subsequent visit here. Never forget the Sister Popiah as well! continue reading

阿榮哥海南茶及麵包都有古早味, 超贊!The old taste of Hainan tea and bread is awesome!Started in 1964!
