Signature Dishes
This is one of my favourite Taiwan shop selling snacks in almost every mall of KL and Penang. One of its signature snacks is the XXXL size crispy chicken. The crispy chicken is one of the famous food in Taiwan and this is originated from Shihlin night market located at Taipei. I went to Taipei several times and I can say that the fried chicken selling in Malaysia is really have the quality. The chicken was huge in size and just cost RM 6.50 for a piece. You can choose to add Chilli powder or just the original flavour. They fried it so well that the chicken wasn’t too oily and the chicken breast was as juicy as the thigh. Especially when they add some seasoning powder onto the chicken, it makes the chicken taste great with a little of salty and spicy. A good snacks to have at anytime and anyday.

这个开心便当有时候还真让我感到开心的。里面除了有很大份的鸡排之外，还有的就是我很喜欢的皮蛋酱油白豆腐。不过酱油有时候太咸了。鸡排还是一样好吃，不会硬。份量蛮大的，加上豆浆，吃得我很饱

I was suprised when I walked pass Gardens one day and saw a Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks booth there..Hmmm, not a very ideal pairing,seriously. I think with their price and positioning they should do better located at Mid Valley Lower Ground instead, alongside other mass-market brand eateries. Well, maybe they couldn't get a space. Anyway, as expected being at Gardens they get less crowd.. So sometimes the food quality's good, sometimes it isn't. So my verdict is 50-50. Must-not miss at Shihlin is definitely their Oyster Mee Sua, Egg Crepe Chicken Floss, Chicken Box Set and of course the delicious Plum Sweet Potato fries

开心便当，真的能带给人欢愉的感觉吗？如果你当天不是经历了什么挫折，答案是能的。大大的鸡排躺在暖呼呼的雪白米粒上。而个人认为这便当灵魂所在就是皮蛋日本豆腐。重来都没有想过皮蛋和日本豆腐居然是好朋友，冰冰凉凉的豆腐搭配着特调的酱料和青葱，害我回家都忍不住自己弄来吃了。

Hand Made Mee Sua (RM 6.50)The mee sua is served in a small bowl with a thick broth and added with 3 raw oysters and shredded chicken. The mee sua's broth is nice but unfortunately, the osyters were not fresh; sour taste. Luckily I did not have diarrhea after eating it. For those who like spicy food, you can request for more chilli paste (put in a spoon).Yes, I finish up everything............hehe.............P/S: They suggest one to eat with just using spoon without chopstick as this is the traditional way of eating mee sua.
