Very hungry when we reached 1utama shopping centre, once got in from car park immediately sit down at Porridge Time here and start ordering our food! As usual, limited seats and crowded here. Luckily got 1 empty seats for us 5 persons together with children too!We have ordered two bowls of 咸蛋花生粥 salty egg+peanut porridge and it costs RM6.50 each. Also, side dish we ordered deep fried 油炸鬼 to eat together with the porridge! Ordered soya bean too without ice! These porridge is very big portion where 1 person is unable to finish it. Awesome dinner tonight! We are enjoying the porridge very much especially our children too! continue reading

One of the Porridge Time branch is located at Lower Ground Floor of One Utama Shopping Mall. The restaurant is quite small, or we can define it as kiosk, with less than 20 small tables, if i am not mistaken. The interior design is nothing special. But, this restaurant normally full house during lunch hour. From their restaurant name, certainly it is famous of porridge. They have plenty choices of porridge, such as ish, seafood, pork, prawn, farm frog, chicken..etc. You also can order some side dishes to add into the porridge to make it more delicious (egg, century egg, salted egg, you tiao, seaweed, peanut etc). Beside this, they also serve dry noodle, claypot farm frog with kong pou style, fish cake, herbal braise chicken, steamed vege, tong sui etc. I have ordered Peanut Porridge with Salted Egg, which serve in piping hot claypot with ginger, spring onion and sesame oil. The porridge is really nice, where you can have it even when you are not sick. The porridge price is really reasonable and the portion is quite big. continue reading

Shredded Chicken and Century Egg porridge . The century egg pieces given was very disappointing. We think they only gave us half on a century egg for such a generous amount of porridge. This porridge was really smooth and good. The pork innards porridge had more taste. I had also have tried before their frog porridge, which was also not too bad Pork Innards Porridge . This porridge contains of pork a mixture of pig innards. That brown thing on top of the porridge are actually fried pork intestines which was really crunchy and crispy and went really well with the porridge. The additional slices of ginger and spring onions just made the aroma of the porridge better. continue reading
