An honest restaurant with a wide variety of food choices. We came here with a seriously hungry belly, ordered rice dishes (oh came to noodle house and ordered rice dishes, what a contrary! ) and they taste awesomely great. We ordered char rice with prawn, lemongrass chicken and pasembur noodles. The udang is really bouncy and fresh, while the serai chicken (trust me, its aroma is so strong that i can't resist to ask for extra herbs, which they gave us another serving -generously, FOC). I must say this restaurant is a hidden gem in sri Gombak. Pricing wise is very reasonable, soupy prawn rice (RM8.50), lemongrass chicken (RM7.90), mee pasembur (RM8.00).  Halal Jakim certified with Grade A hygience from local authorities. continue reading

Don’t judge a book by its cover – not to  be fooled by the name of this restaurant, ie, Noooodles.Yes they are selling definitely selling noodles but the choice of beyond is far beyond that. Their rice menu is equally exotic and aplenty. Came here ordered our all time favourites pasembur and char nasi udang (yes u heard it right, they have char nasi, not only koay teow/ mee). Taste is truly authentic for pasembur (I am comparing those at food truck) and the char nasi is really special. The soup is tasty with a mild taste of spice. Overall 5 star. continue reading

came to know this restaurant from a close malay colleague as it’s a halal restaurant. Without much expectation (given I have not come across much halal restaurant that sell fish noodles), this visit was surprising good. We have salmon fish noodles – the fish is really fresh, and the noodles portion is generous. They have choices of koay teow, mee and also beehoon. Their curry taste really good (and we just got to know its actually their signature soup), with a spicy sensation. To us, the pricing is very reasonable – a bowl of salmon noodles for only RM12, insofar I have not eaten salmon rice/ noodles (I suppose the salmon weights about 100g) that cost less than RM18. Overall, satisfying meal and experience, will come back again.. ... continue reading
