It is amazing how coffee shops still serves the best food and coffee. However, typical coffee shops always have problem with the place either being stuffy or really hot because they normally don’t have air condition. Of course there are also many that are AC installed. But with that, you probably have to pay double the price of what we pay in coffee shops with fans. Kedai Kopi dan Makanan Kum Chuan is located along A&W near the 3K stadium in Sunway. Known as the famous curry mee under the big tree shop, the place is often packed with office workers in the morning and during the afternoon for breakfast and lunch.Although not having pretty layout and fancy cutleries , they’ve got amazing food here. The Char Kuey Tiau is amazing. They use the thicker kuey tiau instead of hor fun which I loathe. So that is good. There is a fish ball noodle stall selling all sorts of noodles. There is yellow mee, kuey tiau, bee hoon, mee suah, and lau shu fen. Have them either in soup, or dry.The Spicy noodle would intrigue fan with hard core spicy palate for sure. And if you really need your meat source, fear not. The chicken and char siew, siew yuk is cheap and good. Go with noodle and you get a satisfying meal.Lastly not to miss out my favourite Teh-C and this here is the best teh-c I’ve had in Sunway. This place is famous with the curry noodle, and trust me when I say it’s famous because it’s all sold out by the time I got there at 1:30 pm. Perhaps next time I go a little earlier. Prices range from RM 3.50-RM6. continue reading

continue reading

Kedai Kopi & Makanan Kum Chuan is located near the 3K sports centre of Subang Jaya. Next to the A&W restaurant. Many office staff and factory workers came over during lunch time. Fried Kueh Teow @ RM4.00There is a fried kueh teow stall which is quite popular. Seeing the hawker is busy frying non-stop. The kueh teow is full of aroma. Comes with bean sprout, prawns, egg and fresh cockles. They really fried it with nice wok hey and taste good too. Something to pin point is the sauce bit too salty for me. I like the fresh cockles that doesn't taste smelly and the noodle is not very oily type. continue reading
