Eyuzu Japanese CuisineJapanese food enthusiasts come from afar just to taste Chef Ricky’s award-winning culinary works of art! Known for incorporating only the freshest food sources available in its dishes, Eyuzu offers a wide array of Japanese cuisine, from teppanyaki to sukiyaki, tempura, ramen, sushi and more − served either buffet or à la carte styleWe have the cawan mushi next which is the steamed egg custard. I love the savory taste of the classic steamed egg custard which is silky. Each spoonful of it is very fragrant in flavour and full with chunks of meat and mushrooms.Price:RM13++ per cupThe fish (Unagi Kabayaki/Saba Shioyaki) is a remarkable highlights of the night. Both of it are very attractive and well presented. The Saba Shioyaki which is where the grilled mackerel with salt seasoning and it is perfectly flavored and juicy. As for the Unagi Kabayaki is another item which is one of the best I had tasted, The unagi is soft and juicy and it is tantalizing as well.Price starts from RM55++ for Unagi Kabayaki per serving and RM30++ for Saba Shioyaki per serving continue reading

A pleasant outlet with efficient staff and a wide menu with both hits and misses. Crunchy fried salmon skin. An unusual, but very tasty, complimentary appetiser. Our main purpose here was to check out the seasonal Matsutake wild mushrooms. We enjoyed the Matsutake Dobin Mushi (steamed pike mushrooms & seafood clear soup in earthen teapot), which tasted earthy and wholesome. Matsutake Sumiyaki (charcoal-grilled pike mushrooms). Steeply priced at RM60 for five tiny pieces. Had a nice aromatic flavour, but certainly not as marvelous as truffles. Assorted sashimi. Also rather exorbitant, costing RM220 for seven pairs of the typical raw fish and seafood. Thankfully, they tasted fresh, having been flown in the previous day. Marinated salmon with orange-soya sauce. A simple but luscious, comfort-foodish recipe that was probably our favourite for the evening. Eyuzu Maki, with deep-fried soft shell crab, mayo, cucumber, lettuce, seaweed & flying fish roe. Disappointing. Tasted like a roll that we could get at Sakae Sushi. Hot Hakutsuru sake. continue reading

The award winning Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine, under the helm of award winning Chef Ricky Hui, presents Japanese at its most traditional way. Executive Chef has prepared a sumptuous buffet spread for you to bring your family and friends during the weekends as they have the Shumatsu Buffet. With varieties of Japanese gastronomic fare for you to savor, you will be spoilt for choice. Relish in the freshly shackled oysters, baked oysters, sumiyaki, and sukiyaki as well as the very fresh sashimi and sushi!A diversity of marine creature- Sashimi. Very fine and dandy , raw but fresh , thick and succulent meat all in one huge ice bowl. Very presentable. I would rate 5/5 for this. Ask me how I think about this Japanese restaurant? Hmm.. let's say, the best I've ever tasted. Everything they serve was fresh. So so fresh. No compromises if I walk in and pay for no quality foods. The spacious , dim lit lighting makes me feel so homey, too. Eyuzu offered TOOO MANY choices of food, if I were given a wish, I would wish to have 5 stomach or maybe 10 ,to polish off all the best foods over here... hehehe. If you don't believe me, you can come try out yourself. Once again, satisfaction guaranteed.;P continue reading
