I once passed by the shop and was captivated by the beautiful outlook of the shop. Sleek black paint with bamboo curtain covering the shop, Butter + Beans got its beautiful look to attract people for its coffees and pastries!The shop opens early at 8.30am, people work or stay nearby could grab a quick breakfast and coffee on-the-go. We tried on Ham Quiche as well as Raspberry Orchid Cake. The pie crust of the Mushroom & Ham Quiche was a bit hard, and the fillings tasted under-seasoned in my opinion. The Raspberry pound cake could be a little bit more moist and fluffy instead of being too crumbly and dry. Well, that’s my own preference I suppose. It’s not very common to find Financier as well as Raspberry desserts in other places, well the ingredient itself does cost a lot anyway. With that reason, I’d happily pay for a Raspberry based cake for a sweet 10 bucks!
