The interior was simple and cozy with Japanese pattern trend . Setup of Wakon was similar with those restaurants in Japan too and their are good on grill toriyaki which are served as side dishes , sunny wish their customer was enjoying eating while having Sake along , most of the japanese enjoying this trend in japan when after their work and chill out like happy hour with friends or colleague .
Wakon has a very simple menu which mainly consists of grilled dishes such as Pork Neck Skewers , BBQ Squid , BBQ Chicken Wings and many more . beside of this Wakon offers ala carte menu such as rice options , ramen and their signature such as Black Truffle Mixed with Udon .
Crab Roe Salada – RM13.90 -I love this salad because it's not really a salad and also called imitation crab with ROE and cucumber . This dish will be great at parties .
Wasabi Gyoza – RM14.90 - Also known as pot stickers which is filled with pork crumble, Wasabi Cheese , ginger, garlic , soy sauce and sesame oil .
BBQ Pork Belly – RM6.90 - Thinly sliced . Marinated in tare , a very special sweet soy , sake and mirin sauce .
BBQ Squid – RM18.90 - Squid With Ginger Soy Sauce Marinade , Grilled squid yakiina is a soy sauce fragrance makes it almost impossible to pass by without wanting one .
BBQ Pork Neck Meat – RM7.90 per stick - Should it surprise anyone that pork neck is one of the favorite cuts in japanese cuisine . pork neck is so flavorful with sweet sauce that I’m tempted to say awesome .
BBQ Brinjal – RM9.90 - Simple to prepare and just perfect with barbecued , Grilled eggplant can be one of the great treats here .
Black Truffle Mixed Handmade Udon – RM46.90 - plain udon but When mix with the black truffle paste and ROE , It was superb fantastic .
Mentaiko Chicken Wings – RM12.90 (1 set 2 pcs) - Stuffed with mentaiko, you could taste the bitty mentaiko popping in your mouth when you bite into the crispy fragrant wing .
