Went to café Quan for lunch today and stumbled upon this special Cantonese fried kuey teow. From the picture on the menu, it looked like some kind of golden crackers.Really, I’ve never seen such a dish before - basically the kuey teow is deep fried till crisp. The portion is really huge and the kuey teow actually tastes like crackers. Just towards the end of it, you’ll feel the texture getting softer, hence you’ve got to finish it fast before it soaks too long in the soup.Waiting time is a bit lon

Waiting time is a bit long considering the crowd at lunch hour.
